We now have our first images of another 2016 LEGO Star Wars set that will hit stores later in the summer. Similar to Batman: Rescue from Ra’s al Ghul (76056), this new Star Wars set was not revealed during the New York Toy Fair earlier this year. LEGO Star Wars Rebel Combat Frigate 75158 is based on the Pelta-class frigate Phoenix Home as seen in the first episode of Season 2 of Disney XD’s Star Wars Rebels.
Thanks again to Jacob_9821 from Eurobricks who also gave us as our first images of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Tanker Truck Takedown 76067, we now have our first look at this new Star Wars Rebels set 75158. Consisting of 938 pieces, the set comes with a newer minifigure version of Ahsoka Tano, C1-10P (Chopper), Ezra Bridger, Captain Sato and Agent Kallus. The Ahsoka Tano minifigure in this set also seems to have a new face print and is now updated with new trans-blue pieces for her dual lightsabers. We do not have any pricing mentioned as of the moment, but given that it is the second largest set from LEGO’s 2016 Summer set releases, the first being LEGO Star Wars Captain Rex’s AT-TE 75157 with 972 pieces, we could expect a price range anywhere between $99 to $119.
The Rebel Combat Frigate 75158, along with the fourth Captain America Civil War set 76067, is expected to be another retailer exclusive.
