LEGO’s September Store Calendar is now up, with the Nexo Knights diving into the heat of the action, a promise of two exclusive D2C sets, great in-store activities, and the announcement of the LEGO Nexo Knights’ complete season 1 over at CartoonNetwork.com. Let’s take a closer look on what this month has to offer.
Before we charge in together with the Nexo Knights, LEGO and Disney fans have a great reason to be excited once September kicks in. It’s a great way to jumpstart the month with the magic of the LEGO Disney Castle 71040 arriving at all LEGO Stores and at shop.LEGO.com. Coming in at a whooping 4,000++ pieces and tons of play feature, the LEGO Disney Castle features an intricately detailed façade that showcases Disney’s popular classic animated films. This LEGO exclusive will retail at $349.99 locally.
LEGO Nexo Knights fans will be happy to know that the entire month of September, VIP members will be treated with double VIP points for every purchase of General Magmar’s Siege Machine of Doom (70321) and Clay’s Rumble Blade (70315).
September 1 – October 31:
Build your arsenal of Nexo Power with LEGO’s Nexo Knights Shield Search and Find. Download the LEGO Nexo Knights: Merlok 2.0 app and visit any LEGO Store to search for special shields to scan into your app. Each shield gives you a unique power to use in the game.
LEGO’s exclusive promotional for the month of September is the LEGO Nexo Knights Ultimate Lavaria (70335) which comes FREE for every qualifying purchase of $50 or more. As with other LEGO Store promotional sets expect this one to sell like hotcakes while supplies last.

There has been several rumors floating around fan forums surrounding these two exclusive sets, and CM4Sci over at Eurobricks gives us a hint that these will be, most likely, the new Star Wars Death Star and a Winter Train sets. Brickset has already updated their database, with the serial number 75159 attached to the new LEGO Star Wars UCS Death Star and 10254 to the LEGO Creator Expert Winter Train. VIP members will get an early access to these highly anticipated sets from September 15 to 30.
Westfield UTC San Diego will see the debut of another LEGO Store from September 16-18. The Grand Opening of the LEGO Store at 4545 La Jolla Village Drive at San Diego will be jumpstarted by LEGO’s Master Builders as they construct a gigantic model of Lloyd as he’s seen in LEGO Ninjago made entirely of bricks. Guests will also be awarded with a certificate of achievement (aka awesomeness) for helping out in coming up with the build. Plus, if you’ll be one of the first 400 customers each day from September 16 to 18, you’ll get a chance to receive a free LEGO exclusive gift for every qualifying purchase. These gifts include a LEGO backpack, an exclusive LEGO Minifigure Set, and a limited edition LEGO Store Set (40145). Check out these images of set 40145 below.
Along with the usual monthly regulars such as the Minifigure Swap Mondays (September 5, 12, 19 and 26) and LEGO Club Meetings (September 17 and 24) September also marks the release of the LEGO Minecraft Fortress (21127) and LEGO Architecture United States Capitol Building (21030).
