LEGO Store’s April Calendar has now been uploaded just in time for the introduction of new LEGO sets and products at shop.LEGO.com. Celebrating Friendship is the theme for this Easter month, and with it comes a handful of promotionals that all of us will surely enjoy. Check out what will happen at LEGO Stores on April.
April 1-15: FREE LEGO Creator Mini Volkswagen Beetle (40252) with purchases of $50 or more from April 1 to 15 or while supplies last. If you recall, this smaller cousin of the LEGO Creator Volkswagen Beetle (10252) was first spotted in LEGO Brand Stores in Italy as a part of its in-store promotional. It’s now great to hear that this mini version of the iconic blue beetle has now found its way in our local LEGO stores.
April 1-30: FREE LEGO Friends Tic Tac Toe game with a $20 LEGO Friends purchase for the whole month of April, or while supplies last. What I like most out of this free LEGO Friends set is the amount of animal minifigures that it offers. These minifigures will definitely be useful for any City-type MOCs.
April 1: LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales The Silent Mary (71042) will be available to the general public starting April 1st. This exclusive set was first offered among VIP members on March 17 and retails at $199.99. It comes in at 2,294 pieces and features 8 minifigures.
April 4-5: FREE VIP Monthly Mini Model Build which is Chick. MMB registration starts on March 15. I like this particular build, especially the addition of a top hat element.
April 1-16: Easter Egg Hunt at LEGO Stores. Find all the Easter eggs hiding around the store and get an Easter sticker sheet. This activity is for children ages 6-14 only, and sticker sheets are available while supplies last.
April 15: VIP LEGO Friends Mini Build event. We’ll provide you with the rest of the details of this mini build activity as more info comes in.
April 7 & 21: The LEGO Family Game Night. Similarly, we’ll be waiting for more info and we’ll update you accordingly.
April 22 & 29: LEGO Life meeting. Join the LEGO Life Meeting where LEGO Life users may share their building skills with other like-minded builders. This event has limited space so be sure to register early. Open to all kids ages 6-14.
