Thor: Ragnarok is done, so the next chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is the third team movie, Avengers: Infinity War. How exactly that’s going to work following the still-ongoing fallout of Captain America: Civil War is a question for dedicated MCU film buffs, but what is certain is one thing: it will have merchandise, and it will include LEGO sets.
News has been coming out from multiple sources from Europe and Russia, particularly from a Russian toy store, regarding some of the sets coming out from LEGO that will play out key scenes from the upcoming superhero film. Six set numbers with information on the price (in Euros) and included minifigures have been listed, although the numbering scheme hints that there are at least two more that haven’t been named.

The following LEGO Marvel Avengers: Infinity War play set names are not finalized, but amply describe what’s supposed to be happening and therefore can spoil what will happen in the movie itself. If you’re not into spoilers, then read at your own discretion.
So with that out of the way, let’s get started. Please take note that most, if not all, of the set descriptions here, are from the Russian toy store, Exoforce.ru. These are rough Google translations so please take this with a pinch of salt. Special thanks to The Brick Fan for capturing these translations, since any references to these sets were already removed from Exoforce’s website as of this writing.

Attack of Riders (76101)
Set price: €14.99
Minifigures include: Captain America, Black Widow, Outriders, Space Stone

Corvis Glaive Attacks (76103)

Protect the Wall of the Wakid from Corvus Glaive and his thresher!
Shoot at the threshing machine of double guns-thorns and a disk shooter. Quickly open the gate so that the Black Panther can enter the battle. The Hulkbuster Fight (76104)

Thanos: The Last Battle (76107)

Minifigures include: Thanos, Iron Man, Star-Lord, Gamora
Together with the Avengers, start the fight for the Glove of Infinity!
Shoot at Thanos from the ship’s thorns. Open the cockpit and attack the space bike along with Star-Lord and Gamora.
Avoid the blows of Thanos’s huge sword and use Iron Man’s power units to defeat Titan’s supervillain. Having won, grab the golden glove of infinity and fly away.
The Battle in the Sanctum Sanctorum (76108)
Set price: €99.99
Minifigures include: Cull Obsidian, Ebony Maw, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Spider-Man
Emergency! Kull Obsidian and Ebony Maw are attacking the Holy of Holies of Dr. Strange!
Together with Spiderman, jump off them from the roof. Unite with Iron Man and Dr. Strange and use their powers to repel supervillains. If Ebony Mo is able to penetrate the bedroom of Peter Parker, lead him from there through the secret hatch.
You must stop the evil invaders before they blow up the wall of the Holy of Holies Dr. Strange and get the stone of infinity of time. After defeating your enemies, order pizza and celebrate it with Peter Parker!
As you can see, there’s no word of any sets numbered either 76105 or 76106, but you never know. And the list of included minifigures can give away a lot about the characters involved in Avengers: Infinity War. Now the question is whether LEGO Captain America will be sporting a fine beard as he does in the revealed poster art thus far. We will find out soon enough.
The Black Panther movie is the next chapter. It comes out in February before Avengers in May… otherwise good stuff!
“Ax-Thunderbolt”…..I’m guessing there is no Russian translation for the word, “Stormbreaker.” a.k.a. Beta Ray Bill’s version of Mjolnir. Or perhaps the GotG will introduce Eric Masterson to Thor, who Odin also had a hammer made. It was called, “Thunderstrike.” Eerily close to the word, “Thunderbolt.” Wouldn’t you say?
Its probably just Unworthy Thor’s hammer, because he looks like unworthy Thor in the trailer. Although he shares a resemblance to King Thor which would be cool but he would have to have the Odinsword so maybe later in the MCU for this one.
LEGO better not be rehashing some of these scenes from the movie, that would be too much spoilers, especially The Thanos Final Battle.
these sets are made directly from the movies, just like the ones from Ragnarok. These set descriptions are supposed to be released in March. And all of these sets match pretty exactly with the trailer, so yes, Ben Meyer, these are directly from the movie.
Love what I’m hearing about these sets, but the hulk buster battle reveals that the infinity stone is in wakanda , as we saw in the trailer the hulk buster was in WAKANDA!!
There’s no way Marvel would let LEGO spoil that much. Remember the trailer leak… that was down in like 4 hours…
