More LEGO Star Wars Sets To Be Released in August 2018.

It looks like more information are coming in as early as now regarding the next wave of LEGO Star Wars sets, hot off the trail of the LEGO Star Wars Solo sets. LEGO has already revealed the release date of these upcoming tie-in sets in line with the next Star Wars anthology, Solo: A Star Wars Story. Though these sets are to be released at an earlier time as compared to other upcoming LEGO sets, it looks like Disney and LEGO have placed a very tight lid over potential leaks and spoilers on these.

Though details on the LEGO Star Wars Solo sets are still scant, it looks like Rebelscum managed to gather some intel on what we can expect from the 2018 Summer wave of LEGO Star Wars sets scheduled to be released in August. First off, let me say that I’m not at liberty to show you the same images that Rebelscum posted, but if you really want to see them I assume that you will be resourceful enough to know the way.

According to the report, these Star Wars sets will also be officially unveiled at next year’s New York Toy Fair from February 17-20. Here’s a rundown of what we can expect from this wave as mentioned by Rebelscum:

75214 Anakin’s Jedi Starfighter – the yellow-winged Clone Wars spacecraft, based on 7669 Anakin’s Jedi Starfighter
75215 Confidential
75216 Confidential
75217 Confidential

75218 X-Wing Starfighter – with two pairs of pilot/droid minifigs the a red-domed astromech unit could mean the set can be converted to Red Leader’s X-wing
75219 Confidential
75220 Sandcrawler
– a System scale version of the grander 75059 UCS Sandcrawler
75539 501st Legion Clone Trooper & AT-RT Walker – buildable figure with single-person vehicle, as seen in this retired set
75538 Super Battle Droid – a buildable figure that comes as a surprise to many

I’m particularly excited about the Super Battle Droid (75538) because of the new and unique pieces that LEGO introduced to create this robust ultra-build. The X-Wing Starfighter (75218) is also a nice rehash of the previous X-Wings that we have before. As you can see, no reveals yet about the Solo tie-in sets so we just have to be a little more patient on this one.

  1. I wish they’d remake more clone wars sets like the whole General Grevious chase or maybe make some new clone wars sets like a Yoda and Kybuck

    1. Rereleases (or remakes) of old Clone Wars sets would be awesome. I still can’t get the Republic Frigate or Republic Attack Shuttle. I personally loved the Clone Wars and hate Rebels, Rogue 1, The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.
