It looks like LEGO is not just giving as a treat this Valentine’s Day, but also a taste of things to come before this year’s New York Toy Fair kicks in on Saturday. We already have an idea that this particular set is eventually one of the LEGO Han Solo tie-in builds that we can expect this April, and this time around, LEGO opted to reveal one of them to whet our interest.
Posted via their Facebook page, LEGO now gives us our first official look at the LEGO Star Wars Kessel Run Millennium Falcon (75212). This set comes in at 1,414 pieces and features what is supposedly the original version of the Falcon before Han Solo heavily modded it. It also features the minifigure versions of Qi’Ra, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, Quay Tolsite, Kessel Operations Droid, and DD-BD. The set will be released sometime in April, retailing for $169.99.
Now you might be wondering why these images feel like a bit incomplete since two minifigures (Quay Tolsite and DD-BD) are still missing from the roster of images and that the official box arts were also not revealed. I reckon that it still has something to do with LEGO and Disney still holding back on the finer details of the film before it premieres on May 25. Nevertheless, we can still enjoy this crisp, clear images and have a slight idea of what to expect from this set.
