It looks like there’s another LEGO promotional set that we’ll be watching out for next month. The German eBay website has listed a LEGO Brand Store (40305) set, together with some of its box art images. However, unlike previous LEGO Brand Stores replica sets such as the LEGO Exclusive VIP (40178) set and 2014’s LEGO Brand Retail Store (40145), which both features a single-storey design, this latest offering follows a more preferred two-storey modular design that includes a removable second floor and roof.
Being a promotional set as it is, LEGO is cutting some corners by offering stickered parts instead of printed ones. Though I have to admit that it will always be great to have printed unique parts, but being a free promotional set, there’s no need for me to complain. Based on the photos of the set’s packaging, there seems to be several stickered parts that are direct references to the LEGO Creators, Juniors, and City themes. The LEGO store sign also seems to look like a stickered 2×2 tile.
The LEGO Brand Store (40305) has two minifigures: a LEGO Store employee and a child customer. LEGO also throws in a white microfig which is also pretty neat and helps emphasize that this set is a LEGO Store replica. We have no exact word yet on when this set will be available, but we can somehow predict that this next LEGO store gift-with-purchase set will go live sometime mid or late June, and with a required minimum purchase of somewhere between $60-$70.
