We already had a glimpse of the first official images of LEGO Dimensions’ first wave of fun, team, level and story packs which include the Ghostbusters Story Pack (71242), Adventure Time Level Pack (71245), Adventure Time Team Pack (71246), Harry Potter Team Pack (71247), Missions Impossible Level Pack (71248), and The A-Team Fun Pack (71251). Though scheduled to be released on September 27, more than 3 months from now, all of these packs are now available for pre-order via Amazon, with the Story Pack retailing at $49.99, Level Packs at $29.99, Team Packs at $24.99 and Fun Packs at $11.99.

Further through the presentation, Doug revealed all the 16 titles that come along the second series of LEGO Dimensions, now giving LEGO’s lucrative toys-to-life franchise a total of 30 IPs included under its umbrella.

The following titles were also revealed for the first time during the presentation, and are scheduled to be released through subsequent waves sometime in November, January and March. Some of these titles were also mentioned almost a year ago through some fan forums and websites.

To cap off his presentation, Doug also announced a welcomed treat for all those who have attended the screening. As a token of appreciation, LEGO has given away for free a LEGO Dimensions limited edition, E3 exclusive, Green Arrow Starter Pack 71342. For those who are raring to have this DC Superhero collectible minifig, this polybag exclusive has been popping up all over eBay. However, LEGO promises that the Green Arrow polybag will still be available throughout the year, perhaps as a part of another promotional or exclusive as mentioned in their Facebook post below.

LEGO Dimensions have definitely gone bigger and better both in content and gameplay. LEGO has also proven its capability of mashing up all 30 unique licenses under one game, with the potential of adding more in the future. With such an impressive track record and portfolio, LEGO Dimensions may perhaps set a new trend for the revival of the ailing toys-to-life genre.
