More Box Art Images of the Latest 2018 Nexo Knights Sets Spotted!

After Jason and the rest of the Brick Show team went on a LEGO hunting trip yesterday, it appears that more sightings of the latest wave of LEGO Nexo Knights sets have been spotted in various Toys R Us stores. Thanks to Eurobricks forum members, we now have some decent images of the sets’ box arts that might give us a hint on how these sets are. As of this writing, 5  out of 6 of the 2018 sets were now spotted ahead of this year’s Brick Friday LEGO sale. However, it seems that official images are only limited to the Berserker Bomber (72003), and we still haven’t seen the likes of Lance’s Hover Jouster (72001).  We’ll keep you posted once official images are which are expected to be available by before the end of the month.

Here’s what fellow AFOLs found through various stores. Credits also to Brickset for sharing some of these images.

Several 2018 LEGO City, Creator and Nexo Knights Sets Are Now Starting to Appear at Toys R Us!

The Brick Show Team was on LEGO hunt earlier today and their search led them to several TRU stores in Florida. To our surprise, we stumbled upon this cool selection of 2018 LEGO Creator, City, and Ninjago Movie sets that are now put on display on TRU’s shelves. First off, we have Jason picking up this haul from TRU in Altamonte Springs consisting some of the 2018 LEGO City sets.

LEGO City Ambulance Helicopter (60179): 190 pieces; $19.99

LEGO City Monster Truck (60180): 192 pieces; $19.99

LEGO City Pickup and Caravan (60182): 334 pieces; $29.99

Our Master Builders Sean and Tyler were also on a hunt, where they managed to bag some of the newest 2018 Creator sets around in their local TRU store.

LEGO Creator Extreme Engines (31072): 109 pieces; $9.99

LEGO Creator Outback Adventures (31075): 225 pieces; $19.99

LEGO Creator Daredevil Stunt Plane (31076): 200 pieces; $19.99

Finally, Brick Show Brian has a LEGO haul of his own coming in from the Northshore of Boston. I am green with envy because one of his finds is a personal favorite. I would love to try my hands on that Quake Mech!

LEGO Ninjago Movie Quake Mech (70632); 1202 pieces; $89.99

Surprisingly, Brian also landed on a 2018 Nexo Knights set that were just recently revealed via Brickset’s database. The box art image below is courtesy of Brickset.

LEGO Nexo Knights Tech Wizard Showdown (72004); 506 pieces; $39.99

The entire Brick Show team will surely be busy during the next few days with their respective reviews of these sets, so be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel and also here in our blog. More LEGO Nexo Knights 2018 Reveal – the Twinfector (72002) and Axl’s Rolling Arsenal (72006).

More and more images of LEGO Knights 2018 sets are now making their way online. After the official reveal of the LEGO Nexo Knights Berserker Bomber (72003) from Toys R Us, we now have reports that other Nexo Knights sets have been spotted in the wild, apparently in an unnamed TRU branch. Thanks to Eurobricks forum member Robert8, we now have several box art images of two other Nexo Knights sets, leaving us with only 3 more sets out 6 waiting to be revealed. Please take note that this are not in any way can be considered as leaks, since they are now officially on display for purchase.

Here’s how they look.

Twinfector (72002)191 pieces

Those who are familiar with the Blacktron II theme from the 90s will easily recognize the apparent similarity that the Twinfector has with the classic Space subtheme. In fact not only this set, but even that of the Berserker Bomber and that of the Vyro Glyder from Axl’s Rolling Arsenal. It’s all too familiar trans-neon green on black color scheme brings back nostalgic memories. It further gives credence to the idea that LEGO intends to fuse the classic Space and Castle themes in a combined format with the hopes of making it appealing both to AFOLs and a younger generation of LEGO fans.

If there is anything that excites me about this upcoming wave of Nexo Knights sets, it is perhaps the look and feel of Knighton’s baddies, the Cyberbyters with their mysterious weaponry. It also includes a rather interesting new piece which seems to be the bane of Knighton’s champions – the tech-infected Critters. I’m surely looking forward to see how the rest of the Cyberbyters’ gear will turn out.

Axl’s Rolling Arsenal (72006)604 pieces

This set is the largest set that we have seen yet, coming in at 604 pieces. It is somewhat bulky, considering that it is literally a 4-in-1 vehicle set. According to the description provided in LEGO Life Magazine, the set includes Axl’s Tank, the detachable Jestroyer apparently piloted by Jestro, the Critter Trapper which is stored inside Axl’s tank, and the Vyro Glyder. Personally, I do not find Axl’s Rolling Arsenal really that appealing due to its yellow and gray colors, but the number of vehicles that goes with the set is a good deal in itself. Also, this is the first time that we see Jestro siding with the heroes of Knighton, which also somehow reflected in his more ‘knightly’, minifigure form.

If LEGO plans to release the Berserker Bomber (72003) on November 25 as announced in the December Store Calendar, then it is not a long shot to consider that we will be seeing the rest of these sets anytime next week.

  • Lance’s Hiver Jouster (72001)
  • Tech WiZard (72004)
  • X-bow (72005)

Are you excited about these latest LEGO Nexo Knights set? I’m definitely looking forward to see the rest of the sets, especially those Cyberbyter mech and ships. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we have more info within the next few days, so be sure to hit that Subscribe button down below, and stay tuned here on the Brick Show!

Check out these LEGO Juniors 2018 Official Images.

It looks like Toys R Us is in a roll with its upcoming LEGO set reveals. After pulling off the veil from the LEGO Nexo Knights Berserker Bomber (72003), the toy retail giant has updated its catalog to include images from the next LEGO Juniors sets. Though intended primarily for budding LEGO fans ages 4 to 7, these sets have also taken a following from AFOLs and builders because of their relatively unique pieces and minifigures. LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) to be Stocked in LEGO Stores in Northern UK.

LEGO and Star Wars go well hand in hand, and certain items on the LEGO Star Wars line are almost guaranteed to be snapped up by buyers and collectors. All told, there’s no contest that the Millennium Falcon is one of the most popular LEGO sets that are likely to sell out.

This has been the case for the massive Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon set (75912), which has been hounded with availability problems since its September debut, both stateside and overseas.

For instance, LEGO Stores in London only got new stocks of set 75912 last week. Now they will begin to trickle up to stores in the northern UK. The first cities outside of London where LEGO and Star Wars fanatics could start their checking for new deliveries are Manchester, Liverpool and Newcastle, which had reported no stocks of the UCS Millennium Falcon the week before.

Starting from Monday, November 6 however, LEGO Stores over in Leeds, Sheffield and even Glasgow could eventually start selling the set too. This scarcity of the 75912 set was brought about by the sheer number that went to LEGO VIP members, causing it to sell out in just hours rather than days. UK builders have been very much deprived of the UCS Falcon as a result.

The LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75912) is a monster of a model set, with over 7,000 pieces, near-authentic detail and enough internal space to accommodate its accompanying set of minifigures.

Furthermore, any LEGO Store customer who buys the set before 2017 comes to an end, wherever in the world he may be, will receive a LEGO Star Wars VIP Card along with it. Still, would-be buyers of 75912 will have to expect a frenzy and scarcity for the set during the buildup towards the Episode VIII: The Last Jedi film, coming this December 14 in the UK and the following day in the US.
