The LEGO Store June Calendar Is Now Here!

We’re one with the legion of Star Wars fans in celebrating this month’s May the 4th Celebrations, and just when you thought that visiting any LEGO Brand Store couldn’t be any better this month of May, LEGO has now released its June Store Calendar with great promos, events, and plenty of mini-builds that are surely irresistible. Take a look at your local LEGO Store’s June activities as you can see from the calendar below. You may also download the LEGO Store June Calendar in pdf format right here.

June 1: Get the new exclusive LEGO Creator Expert Carousel (10257)!

Beginning June 1st, fans of the LEGO Fairground theme will be able to purchase the LEGO Creator Expert Carousel (10257). We came to know of its offering when, a few days ago, we saw a snapshot of it a few days ago.  The following day, it was officially revealed by LEGO and it was simply gorgeous. Coming at 2,670 pieces set 10257 will retail at $199.99 and will be exclusively available at all LEGO Brand Stores and at

June 1-14: Free Minifigure Travel Pack (5004932) with purchases of $35 or more, while supplies last.

This offer is exclusively available in all LEGO Brand Stores and at for every single receipt purchase of any LEGO product worth $35 and above. If you recall, we’ve got an early hint of the LEGO Minifigure Travel Pack last February. The set is made up of 41 pieces: a tourist minifigure, a LEGO Store Passport, and quite a handful of minifig accessories.

June 1-26: Build a base camp for the Rebel Alliance, complete with Star Wars ships, droids and more.

It seems that the Force is still strong at all LEGO stores even for the month of June. Since last April, LEGO has been offering an in-store, building activity where kids and kids-at-heart may participate in building the Rebel Alliance base camp. Snap a photo of your creation and upload it to the LEGO Life app to receive a pair of wearable Yoda ears while supplies last. This building activity is for children ages 6-14 only.

June 1 onwards: Free  Keychain offer with any purchase when you register for the LEGO VIP Program.

The exclusive LEGO VIP Key Chain (853303) is valid for newly joining VIP members from June 1 to December 31, 2017 or while supplies last. VIP Cards obtained in store must be registered online at to qualify. Likewise, new members who have successfully completed registration via online or in-store signups are eligible for a coupon code that, in turn, can be used to claim their LEGO VIP Keychain with their next purchase on or at any LEGO store. The coupon will be delivered via email within 24 hours of registration and is valid for six (6) months.

June 3: Out of this World building event.

To celebrate the launch of the LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V (21309) in June, kids ages 6-14 get to build and take home a mini space shuttle for free. Registration has already begun since May 1 so be sure to stop by your local LEGO Store for details on how to register.

June 6-7: Free VIP Dragonfly Monthly Mini Model Build.

For the month of June, the next FREE mini build will be the Dragonfly (40244). To reserve a spot, visit starting May 15.

June 14 and 28: LEGO DC Super Hero Girls Wonder Woman and Super Girl building event respectively.

LEGO Stores this month will also offer two mini models of DC Super Hero Girls which you can build and bring home, the first of which is Wonder Woman and second is Super Girl both of which will be available on June 14 and 28 respectively. Due to limited space, LEGO Stores may only be able to accommodate one build event per child (ages 6-14). Registration is also required. See an in-store Brick Specialist for more details.

June 15-30: Free exclusive Canvas Tote Bag with purchases of $199 or more.

It’s nice to see that even though the LEGO Canvas Tote Bag (5005326) is somehow similar to 2011’s LEGO Large Tote Bag (853261), there is still some difference in its style and design. The Canvas Tote Bag comes free with purchases of any LEGO merchandise for a minimum purchase of $199 or while supplies last.

June 15-30: VIPs get early access to a new exclusive LEGO set.

There has been plenty of rumors floating around that this exclusive July D2C may in fact be the LEGO Minecraft The Mountain Cave (21137). Hailed as the largest LEGO Minecraft set to date, with plenty of mobs, characters and play features, the Mountain Cave is expected to be at around 3,000 pieces and with a price point of around $300. Please do note that this is just our best guess since the set was teased by LEGO last month.

I just find it rather odd that LEGO has prominently featured the Marvel heroes of the GOTG Vol. 2 for its June Store Calendar, though all of its related sets were released already in April, and that the store calendars itself does not feature these sets, save for The Milano vs. The Abilisk (76081) which was featured in the May LEGO Store Calendar.

Nevertheless, the month of June will see the release of the following superb sets such as the LEGO City Fun at the Beach (60153), LEGO Batman Movie The Ultimate Batmobile (70917), LEGO Star Wars Rathtar Escape (75180), and the highly anticipated and largest LEGO Ideas set to date – the LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V (21309).

LEGO Store May Calendar Now Up!

The LEGO Store Calendar for the month of May has now been released, and it is a fitting tribute for that month where legions of the Star Wars faithful gather and celebrate, especially that this year marks the 40th anniversary of the Star Wars saga. Check out the highlights for next month’s LEGO Store events.

May 2 to 3: FREE VIP Monthly Mini Build.

For the month of May, the next FREE mini build will be the Car (40243). To reserve a spot, visit starting April 15.

May 4 onwards: Get the new D2C exclusive, LEGO Star Wars UCS Snowspeeder (75144) available only in LEGO Stores and at

This latest UCS set is slated to be the highlight of LEGO’s May the 4th celebrations. The LEGO Star Wars UCS Snowspeeder (75144) has already been revealed and will be available to all, starting of course, on May 4. The next Ultimate Collector Series hailing from the Resistance comes in at 1,703 pieces and will retail at $200.

May 4 to 7: Free R2-D2 (30611) polybag set with a LEGO Star Wars Purchase of $50 + Double VIP Points.

The highly sought after buildable R2-D2 polybag set is the Star Wars promotional highlight for next month, in line with the movie franchise’s 40th anniversary. A healthy amount of interest surrounded the most popular droid on the planet, especially now that he comes as a sought after, brick-built collectible. For me, it is a better deal as compared to previous years’ SW minifigure promotional. It is also wise to assume that this polybag set will go out fast because of the very limited window of opportunity in which it will be offered.

To spice things up, LEGO is throwing in another round of Double VIP points throughout the week on ALL LEGO Star Wars sets, plus discounts on selected ones. On a side note, the UCS Snowspeeder is not included on the list of sale items. However, if you’re holding back on your purchase of the Battle of Scariff (75171) and Y-Wing Starfighter (75172), next month is the best time to get them since both sets will earn you 50 bonus VIP points if you purchase them in May.

May 4: Special Star Wars Events in Stores!

Throughout the whole day, children ages 6-14 may visit any LEGO Store dressed up in their favorite Star Wars character and join in the Search & Find activity where participants can receive a pair of collectible Yoda ears (not sure how it will look like though, maybe a cap of some sorts?). In the afternoon at 5PM, participants will also get a chance to participate in a minifigure speed build challenge where the fastest builder will receive a free minifigure. Participation in the minifig speed build challenge may require registration so be sure to ask a Brick Specialist.

May 8 to 21: Free Mini Milano With Purchases of $35 or More!

Right after the buildable R2-D2 promotional, comes the FREE LEGO Marvel Supeheroes GOTG Vol. 2 Milano (30499) polybag. Though this polybag set will be available for a longer promotional period as compared to R2, better expect this one to fly out of the shelves quickly as well.

Whole Month of May: Receive a Special Star Wars passport stamp when you download the LEGO Life App.

April 24 to June 25: Help the Rebel Alliance Build a Base Camp.

Take part in the Rebel Alliance by building vehicles, aircrafts or droids for the base camp at your local LEGO Store. Snap a photo of your creation and upload it to the LEGO Life app to receive a pair of wearable Yoda ears while supplies last. This building activity is for children ages 6-14 only.

May 13 and 14: Mother’s Day Weekend Building Event.

On Mother’s Day, come in and build a spring inspired Tulip (40039) mini build that you get to take home for FREE. This event is for VIP members and intended for ages 6 to 14 years old. Registration is required so be sure to inquire at your nearest LEGO Store.

Interestingly, the LEGO Store May Calendar also gives us a peek at some LEGO Duplo sets (Flo’s Café 10846 and Thunder Hollow Crazy 8 Race 10744) dedicated to Disney’s Cars 3, just before it debuts in cinemas in August. Starting May, several Minecraft, Elves, Star Wars, and Marvel Superheroes sets will also be available so be sure to check them out.

Barnes and Noble’s The LEGO Batman Movie Celebration Ends With a Make and Take Event This Saturday.

The country’s largest bookseller is set to conclude the highly celebrated The LEGO Batman Movie with an awesome promotional this weekend. Barnes and Nobles, together with LEGO and Warner Bros., will be having an in-store building event on March 11 where children 5 years old and above may have a chance to bring home the Dark Knight’s Speedwagon Batmobile. This Make & Take Event is a fitting conclusion to the three-month-long celebration of the Batastic, brick-built animated film.

Our best guess is that The Mini Batmobile (30521) polybag will be up for grabs in this Barnes & Noble event. But as you may know, LEGO may come up with a specific set exclusive for this promotional so let’s keep an eye on these surprises. Be sure to check with Barnes & Noble’s website for more details since specific times for this event may vary by store. Other than the Speedwagon, participants may also have the chance of collecting all the limited edition, exclusive TLBM character trading cards to create an awesome collage of sorts.

Check out the details of this LEGO Batman Movie Make and Take event via Barnes and Noble’s official press release below.

First Look At The LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean The Silent Mary 71042 Box Art Images.

We’re roughly two months away before the 5th instalment of Pirates of the Caribbean sails into theaters in May, and to celebrate Disney’s successful movie franchise, LEGO has already unveiled its massive, exclusive set dedicated to the film. Coming in at 2,294 pieces, The Silent Mary (71042) is a LEGO Store exclusive retailing at $199.99. We’ve seen its official images, including its range of minifigures, and this time, thanks to Minifigure Price Guide, we now have a (a bit dark) glimpse of its official box art. Though the box art has shown what we already know about the set, it is interesting to see the rest of the elements and pieces that come with it.

As it seems, The Silent Mary will come with new animal parts, specifically a zombie shark. Based on its box art, the undead ship has two of these newer pieces, the second one a bit hidden along the far left side of the front cover. This zombie shark part was already revealed a few months ago by LEGO insider delta.customs, though it was not clear during that time what set it will be included.
