LEGO Ninjago 10th Anniversary BrickHeadz (40490) Back in Stock Via LEGO UK

LEGO Ninjago fans in the UK and Europe might be glad to know that the commemorative LEGO Ninjago 10th Anniversary BrickHeadz (40490) set is now back in stock over at UK LEGO Shop@Home. The said celebratory set was also made available in the US earlier this month but is now unavailable because of the understandable demand from fans.

40490 1

Initially, the LEGO Ninjago 10th Anniversary BrickHeadz (40490) set was offered as a promotional set during the whole month of June. For an additional $10 over your single-receipt LEGO Ninjago purchase worth $85, this limited-edition 3-in-1 BrickHeadz will be added to your card accordingly. The set is originally valued at $30 and features the BrickHeadz versions of Golden Lloyd, Nya Samurai X, and the Firstbourne Dragon. For fans who missed this window of opportunity, LEGO also opted to put the set on sale earlier this month. However, stocks in the US seem to have depleted quite quickly since the set was first officially listed over at LEGO Shop@Home.

It’s great to hear that LEGO fans in the UK will have their shot once again of this commemorative LEGO Ninjago set, and we just have to wait and see if it will be the same case in the US and the rest of the world.

Second LEGO Ideas 2021 Review

Since the Second LEGO Ideas 2021 Review Stage is yet to be concluded in September, we can still expect a lot of product ideas to reach the necessary 10,000 votes in the next couple of months. The LEGO Ideas platform has seen a surprising increase in fan/member engagement as evidenced by the exponential growth of product ideas that qualify for the Review Stage. The First 2021 LEGO Ideas Review Stage, for example, managed to gather a record-breaking 57 product ideas last month. Personally, I’m happy to see such levels of activity from the LEGO fan community. I just hope that the LEGO Ideas Review Team will somehow take time to revisit its selection process to include a wider range of qualified entries, considering the volume of product ideas that made it through the voting stage. I’m not familiar with the inner workings of the LEGO Ideas Review Stage, and the challenges that the team needed to hurdle during their review. But I’m speaking from the perspective of a LEGO fan that is very eager to see his supported project become an official LEGO Ideas set. I guess we just have to wait and see shortly.

More Hints on the LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures Series (71031)

The full-length official trailer of the next MCU Disney+ series has already been released, and with it comes more hints on what we can expect from the upcoming LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures Series (71031). In case you missed it, you may watch it right here.

If you recall from last month, I published a list of these rumored MCU characters that are said to be included in the next LEGO CMF series. First off, it is clear by now that unlike last year’s DC Comics-inspired LEGO CMF (71026), the LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures Series (71031) source material will be entirely from the new MCU Disney+ offerings – from WandaVision up to the animated What If…? series. And now that we have seen the official trailer of the upcoming multiverse series, coupled with the exciting reveals of Loki’s episode 5, we can better fine-tune our list.

With more information coming from Brick Fanatics, here’s the latest rundown of what we can expect from our next licensed LEGO CMF.

      • Scarlet Witch
      • White Vision
      • Monica Rambeau (it was initially thought that it was Agatha Harkness, but the latest word from brick street shows that it will be the super-powered SWORD operative)
      • Captain America Sam Wilson (with shield and new wings)
      • Bucky Barnes (with new printed arm and knife)
      • Loki (in a trench coat with the word VARIANT printed at the back, and Throg as an accessory as seen in Loki Episode 5)
      • Sylvie (now that the Loki series has revealed Sylvie as the one trying to burn the TVA to the ground instead of Lady Loki, we can expect her to be in the LEGO CMF as well)
      • Captain Britain Peggy Carter (with shield and Tessaract)
      • Zombie Captain America
      • Star-Lord T’Challa (with a pair of blasters)
      • Spider Supreme (it was initially thought that this will be a Steve Rogers version of Spidey, but the latest official trailer of What If…? has shown this character to be a multiverse counterpart of Peter Parker with a penchant for a Doctor Strange-like capes)
      • Warlord Gamora (inspired by Thanos and wields a double blade similar to what the Mad Titan used

Though sources tell us that we can expect only 12 minifigures from this line-up, I’m still hoping they will throw in more minifigures coming from this Marvel and Disney+ collab. I guess we just have to wait for LEGO’s official word which I believe will be anytime soon.

Marvel Studios’ “What If…?” Official Trailer Now Up

Earlier today, Marvel Entertainment has released its official trailer for the upcoming animated series “What If…?” slated to stream over at Disney+ next month. In case you missed it, here’s a look at the 2-minute video.

The trailer begins with a very familiar scene from MCU’s initial film, Iron Man, where Tony Stark is faced with the mortal danger caused by his own company’s manufactured weapons. Then out of nowhere, Killmonger appears single-handedly throwing the rogue rocket out of the way and presumably making friends with the future Iron Man.

True to its title, the What If…? series explores the seemingly infinite possibilities of a Marvel cinematic multiverse, told from the perspective of the enigmatic Uatu the Watcher. And for the first time since the release of other MCU and Disney+ series such as WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki, LEGO has revealed its first sets inspired directly by an MCU Disney+ series. We can expect a couple of LEGO Marvel tie-in sets in the likes of the LEGO Marvel Captain Carter & The Hydra Stomper (76201) which is now available for pre-order over at LEGO Shop@Home. And the LEGO Marvel Tony Stark’s Sakaarian Iron Man (76194), slated to be released in August. On top of these sets, we can also expect the arrival of a new LEGO Marvel CMF Series directly inspired by this wave of Disney+ shows.  These sets are both scheduled to be released on August 1, with the LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures (71031) expected to be officially revealed.

Stay tuned for more updates, and while waiting, let’s continue to enjoy the latest Loki series over at Disney+.

LEGO Ideas Seinfeld (21328) Officially Revealed!

After providing a teaser on its imminent arrival, the LEGO Group has finally unveiled its next LEGO Ideas set. As one of the qualifying product ideas during the Third 2019 LEGO Ideas Review Stage, the LEGO Ideas Seinfeld (21328) set is now officially revealed, with early VIP access slated for July 21, and a general public release on August 1st.

21328 Box1 v29

The LEGO Ideas Seinfeld (21328) is a fan-designed tribute (created by LEGO fan designer Brent Waller from Australia) to the iconic 90s show which began on July 5, 1989. It’s pretty neat for LEGO to consider this milestone as the official reveal date for this set. This commemorative set features Jerry Seinfeld’s apartment, a buildable stage for the stand-up comic and a Festivus pole to inspire builders to relive the most classic moments from the series. It comes in at 1,326 pieces and is expected to retail for $79.99 on its launch date.

THAT IS ONE MAGIC LEGO® IDEAS SEINFELD SET

  • New LEGO ® Ideas Seinfeld set celebrates the iconic sitcom created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David
  • The set is revealed on the anniversary of the first episode of the iconic comedy show – July 5th, 1989
  • The LEGO Ideas set was designed by LEGO fan Brent Waller, from Brisbane, Australia, and features Jerry’s flat, a stand-up stage, and the five iconic characters

5th July 2021: Fans of classic 90s sitcom Seinfeld can now recreate some of the most iconic scenes from the series with the new LEGO® Ideas Seinfeld set from the LEGO Group. Featuring Jerry Seinfeld’s apartment, a buildable stage for the stand-up comic and a Festivus pole the set inspires builders to relive the most classic moments from the series.

The highly anticipated set was created by LEGO fan Brent Waller, from Brisbane, Australia, via his submission on the LEGO Ideas® platform, a LEGO initiative that takes new ideas that have been imagined and voted for by fans and turn them into reality.

21328 Box2 v29

So, whether you want to re-enact the Story of Festivus, the Wallet Scene, or the Fix Up, the set’s intricate props and features transport you directly back to New York in the 90s, enabling you to create your very own Show About Nothing in brick form.

LEGO fan designer, Brent, who is the co-founder of a video games company, loved LEGO as a kid but was re-introduced to it as an adult, and combined with his skill as a 3D artist he set about designing his own LEGO creations – including creating the Seinfeld set. Talking about the design, Brent said, “I loved Seinfeld in the 90s and recently re-watched them all. I thought it was a travesty that a LEGO Seinfeld set didn’t exist so I made an effort to resolve that and make the best rendition of Jerry’s Apartment and the gang that I could. The biggest challenge was trying to cram as much detail from the show into the kitchen, all the cupboards, items in the cupboard, and on the bench-tops. But I am very proud of how it turned out.”

21328 Lifestyle 11

Some of the instantly recognizable features include the kitchen with buildable counter, fridge, microwave, oven, and more; living room with a sofa; tables; an office; a buildable stage for stand-up comedian Jerry and a Festivus pole, collectively inspiring memories of comical moments from the show’s 180 episodes!

The set features 5 minifigures inspired by the iconic main characters and one notable postal worker from the show; Jerry Seinfeld, George Costanza, Cosmo Kramer, Elaine Benes, and Newman are all included decked out in iconic 90s outfits.

Federico Begher, VP of Global Marketing at The LEGO Group commented, “The LEGO Ideas platform is a great way for fans to share their ideas with us and their passion for a particular theme. Not only did Brent have a personal desire to create this build, but other fans also agree and he gained the necessary 10,000 community votes needed for us to consider creating it into a product.

21328 Lifestyle 10

Seinfeld is a classic sitcom and a cultural icon that was huge in the 90s and still stands the test of time today. The combination of the quirky characters and the nostalgia of the show is the perfect fit for LEGO and when we saw the concept we just knew we had to make it. I am so excited to see how this has been brought to life in LEGO form and the attention to detail from the furniture to some of the minifigures accessories.”

21328 Lifestyle 12

LEGO® Ideas Seinfeld set is available for LEGO VIP members from 21st July and for all from LEGO Stores and Lego.com/Seinfeld from 1st August 2021 at the recommended retail price of €79.99 / $79.99 / £69.99

LEGO Ideas Seinfeld (21328) Coming Soon!

The LEGO Group has just released a teaser via its social media channel hinting at the arrival of the much-awaited LEGO Ideas Seinfeld (21328). As a qualifying product idea during the Third 2019 LEGO Ideas Review Stage, this fan-designed creation is a tribute to the iconic 90s hit comedy TV series that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2019.

The teaser image features the minifigures of Kramer, George, Jerry, Elaine, and Newman. And since the show’s very first episode was aired on July 5, 1989, it is only fitting that LEGO makes its official reveal this July 5 as well.

The LEGO Ideas Seinfeld (21328) is the second among the three product ideas that eventually made it to the top of the list of the LEGO Ideas Review Team during the Third 2019 LEGO Ideas Review Stage. The LEGO Ideas Typewriter (21327) is already released, and we only have the LEGO Ideas Home Alone McAllister’s House waiting to be announced.

Be sure to stay tuned for more info about our next LEGO Ideas set. I’m pretty sure that we will hear from LEGO soon enough.

More Details on the Rumored LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures Series (71031)

After confirming the arrival of the next CMF series via LEGO’s online product catalog, more information is starting to come in prior to its arrival in September. As I’ve also mentioned before, this next Collectible Minifigure series will most likely tie in with the latest MCU-inspired Disney+ series, all brought together in the LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures Series (71031).

As reported by Promobricks, the latest word on brick street is that these minifigures will directly refer to the Disney+ MCU series that are currently available on the streaming platform, and one that is scheduled to arrive in August. So heads up if you haven’t seen some of these series yet and wish to avoid any heavy spoilers.

According to sources, these are what to expect from the LEGO CMF Series 71031. Remember that all of these minifigs are said to be based on MCU characters, in contrast to what LEGO offered last year with the LEGO DC Comics CMF (71026). This upcoming series will also include the popular “action element” – a relatively new angled bar that allows for a wide range of dynamic posing for these minifigures

        • Scarlet Witch
        • White Vision
        • Agatha Harkness (in her purple, witch form)
        • Captain America Sam Wilson (with shield and new wings)
        • Bucky Barnes (with new printed arm and knife)
        • Loki (in a trench coat with printed VARIANT at the back)
        • Throg (with a red cape and Frogjolnir)
        • Lady Loki
        • Captain Britain Peggy Carter (with shield and Tessaract)
        • Zombie Captain America
        • Star-Lord T’Challa (with a pair of blasters)
        • Spider-Man Steve Rogers (with new printing and cape)
        • Gamora (inspired by Thanos and wields a double blade similar to what the Mad Titan used)

I do not want to assume at this point that we are seeing the complete list here since we only have 13 characters as of now, and I feel that there might still be some other characters that are going to be included. Last year’s DC Comics CMF for example offered 16 minifigures, so we can somewhat expect that the LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures Series (71031) will follow in the same direction.

So what do you think about this list? Are we to see more MCU characters added to this series? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

Here’s A Closer Look at the LEGO Star Wars Summer 2021 Minifigures

Earlier this June, the Japanese online LEGO catalog for 2H 2021 gave us a glimpse of the latest LEGO Star Wars summer 2021 sets that we can expect in August. But as it turned out, this catalog was uploaded a way bit early and was eventually removed from servers only to be replaced by an edited version without the said LEGO Star Wars sets. And thanks to Hoth Bricks, we can now have a closer look at the new and interesting minifigures that goes with this wave.

As shared by Hoth Bricks, it turns out that the building instructions for the LEGO Star Wars The Bad Batch Attack Shuttle (75314) that they received as a review copy, include a page dedicated to these new LEGO Star Wars summer 2021 minifigures.
