Earlier today, the official debut of the LEGO Minecraft The Village was all over the Internet. Retailing at $200, this 1,600-piece set received a lot of mixed reactions from LEGO and Minecraft fans, particularly for being quite steep in its pricing. As Allen Tran from Brick Fan pointed out, there are definitely some new and useful elements that are included this set, but the cost may be a turn-off to some.
Action Figure Insider also uploaded a LEGO designer video that goes along with LEGO’s latest Minecraft set. It’s kind of odd why the video is posted here and not on LEGO’s mainstream channel. In LEGO’s usual fashion, LEGO Minecraft product designers Carl and Robert show the many features of The Village 21128, including the new pieces and minifigures that go with it such as the villagers.
