LEGO is giving us an early teaser with its latest LEGO Store Calendar for the month of June. April is not yet over, and we still have a lot of good stuff waiting in LEGO Stores this May, but LEGO is already dishing out plenty of exciting things that we can expect from our local LEGO Stores in June:
June 1-15: The main promotion for the month is the LEGO Creator Fountain (40221) with purchases of $75 or more.
June 6: Collect card #3 for the LEGO Star Wars Character Card which is a First Order Stormtrooper.
June 7-8: The Monthly Mini Build will be a Seaplane (40213).
June 13: There will be a Minifigure Swap on that Monday.
June 15-30: LEGO VIP members will get early access to a new exclusive set
June 20: Collect card #4 for the LEGO Star Wars Character Card which is Kylo Ren.
June 14, 21, 28: Build or race pre-built vehicles at the LEGO Store to get a LEGO Technic Poster.
LEGO also cooked up several sweet deals and promo exclusives:
* Double VIP points for all the month of June for every purchase of LEGO Technic Race Kart 42048 or Mine Loader 42049.
* Free Adult or Child ticket with full paid ticket to LEGOLAND Parks or LEGOLAND Discovery Centers for each qualifying purchase at any LEGO Store. This promo is valid starting May 9 to June 3, or while supplies last.
* There will also be a brand new LEGO Nexo Knights 4D movie exclusive at LEGOLAND Resorts and LEGOLAND Discovery Center. We’ll give you further updates on this later on.
* Several sets will be available by then which includes: LEGO Juniors Emma’s Ice Cream Truck 10727, LEGO City Airport VIP Service 60102, LEGO Star Wars Clone Turbo Tank 75151, and LEGO Creator Lighthouse Point 31051. One of this year’s D2C or direct-to-consumer LEGO Store exclusive will also be available starting June 1 – the 1,600-piece LEGO Minecraft The Village 21128 retailing at $199.99.
These are pretty exciting offers and deals, especially the mystery set exclusive that will be made available to all LEGO VIP members from June 15 to 30. We’ll keep you posted on this as more news and info comes in.
One particular LEGO Store exclusive for the month of June deserves this last mention, and most LEGO fans will certainly welcome this. For every purchase of $75 or more at any LEGO Store or at shop.lego.com from June 1 to 15, customers will receive the exclusive LEGO Creator Fountain 40221. As noted by Brick Toy News, this LEGO Store exclusive may have a higher purchase amount threshold than other promotional sets, but the build itself is really impressive. LEGO’s choice of including 40221 as a monthly promotional is a much welcomed treat.
Starting from its packaging, the LEGO Creator Fountain is quite a catch. Unlike other promotional sets, this one comes in a neat standard box as compared to polybags used for lesser promotions. As far as we can recall, only the Holiday promos tend to come in boxes. LEGO outdid itself this time with several excellent elements and pieces that they packed in together with the LEGO Creator Fountain. Consisting of 105 pieces, it comes with a winged statue, water elements, frog elements, an adult woman Minifigure with a newspaper, a light brown dog figure, a red trash bin, a yellow bicycle, and other useful elements that may come handy in building your next MOC. The LEGO Creator Fountain is a great complement to LEGO City Fun in the Park – City People Pack, which is set to be released on May 22.
