As we have seen from this month’s LEGO Store Calendar, those who will be making their next LEGO purchase starting on Monday is in for another brick treat. For every single-receipt purchase of any LEGO products or merchandise worth $80 and above from January 13 to 26 will entitle you to an exclusive LEGO Year of the Rat (40355) set as a way of celebrating the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year.

LEGO Year of the Rat (40355)
Similar to last year’s LEGO Year of the Pig (40186) promotional set, this newest member of the Chinese zodiac-inspired LEGO set comes with a variety of play features and points of articulation. It comes in 162 pieces and has posable ears and paws and a movable tail and head. It comes with a bit of LEGO foliage pieces on top of a circular base similar to its predecessors.
We can expect the LEGO Year of the Rat (40355) promotional set to go live by Monday, January 13. If you’re into collecting these LEGO Chinese New Year exclusives, then be sure not to miss out on this freebie starting Monday until January 26. This is the 6th LEGO set of its kind, following the LEGO Year of the Pig (40186) released last year; LEGO Year of the Dog (40235) in 2018; LEGO Year of the Rooster (40234) in 2017; LEGO Year of the Monkey (40207) in 2016; and LEGO Year of the Sheep (40148) in 2015.
