Following the most recent contest launched via the LEGO Ideas platform, we now have another contest that will challenge the LEGO artist in you. The LEGO Ideas Music to Our Ears Building Contest invites you to show your love for music through LEGO bricks.
What is unique about this contest is that a board of judges will pre-select ten entries that will qualify for the Fan Vote Phase in order to determine the overall winner. And on top of that, those entries that will make it to the Fan Vote Phase will also enter a Product Review Phase to determine its feasibility of becoming an official LEGO Ideas set. Other than the cool prizes that await the Grand Prize Winner, the greatest reward that the winner will get is seeing his/her entry having the chance of becoming a LEGO set. Like any other LEGO Ideas project, it will also go through the same robust review cycle.
Music To Our Ears!
We’ve got a contest, which we hope sounds great! You will remember your favorite songs lyrics off by heart. You will remember your first concert or maybe the first time you played an instrument. Almost everyone loves music in one way or another, how would you show off your love of music using LEGO bricks? We want to see anything and everything to do with music in this contest and to see some of the best composed work.
The LEGO Ideas Judges will select all the entries that participate in the Fan Vote.
Excitingly, in addition to the regular contest prizes, we are piloting a new type of contest prize and process. What this means is that all entries that reach the Fan Vote phase, will also be included into a special review by the LEGO Ideas Review Board and will stand a chance of becoming an official LEGO Ideas set IF* one submission can wow them enough.
Speaking of prizes, there will be a Grand Prize and Three Runner Up Winners, both of which will be receiving an impressive haul of new and classic LEGO Ideas set. Plus to sweeten the deal, LEGO is also throwing in the next LEGO Ideas set as the mystery prize for all four winners. We are not sure yet on what this set might be, only that it was given a set number of 21322 retailing for $200 as listed by Price Vortex. It could either be my personal favorite, the LEGO Ideas 123 Sesame Street, the LEGO Ideas The Pirate Bay, or the LEGO Ideas Playable Piano. My hopes are with the LEGO Ideas 123 Sesame Street and I’m really excited and happy for the winners who will be the first to try this set if ever this is the mystery prize.
