The LEGO Movie Streaming For Free on Black Friday

By now it’s plain to the LEGO community – and perhaps the cinema-going community as a whole – that The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part is a major big deal. Considering the runaway success of the original back in 2014, it’s no surprise that the anticipation for it’s gone fever pitch. And perhaps, the excitement for the LEGO Movie sequel can only be escalated even more by a most generous gesture from LEGO and Warner Bros. in time for Black Friday. They’ve inked a deal with video-sharing giant YouTube to do something incredible: to have The LEGO Movie streaming for free.

Oh, yes. LEGO-Warner and YouTube are going big when it comes to hyping up the further adventures of Emmett, Wyldstyle and friends by giving fans a free viewing of the first big film from this epic franchise. It’ll help everybody refresh their memories of four years ago, in preparation for the sequel’s coming next year.

To avail of the free LEGO Movie streaming, fans need only visit YouTube on Black Friday, watch the latest trailer for The LEGO Movie 2, and clicking the ad to watch the first LEGO Movie, free of ads (because it’s inserted as an ad itself). But remember! This window lasts only for all 24 hours of Black Friday/November 23. In addition, it may only be available within certain territories, not worldwide (a big bummer, really). As for The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, don’t forget that it premieres next year on February 8, 2019.
