It’s rather surprisingly fitting that, not long after NASA has been galvanized into seriously calculating the costs of a future lunar mission, LEGO revealed new upcoming City sets with a space exploration theme. But if you think LEGO City’s going to be spending much of summer 2019 exploring Mars, you haven’t seen them all yet.
French LEGO news source and retailer Hoth Bricks just got the lowdown on four more LEGO City sets coming soon in the following months. It’s quite the mixed bunch too. One set goes well with the early-2019 LEGO City firefighting sets. Another can mix with fairground-themed sets from LEGO Creator Expert over the past year.
Here are the new City sets for your consideration:
- Fire Truck (60231) – fits well with the 60212 to 60217 City sets, plus the 30361 polybag
- Garage (60232) – a LEGO 4+ set
- Donut Shop Opening (60233) – features a big donut-design building element
- People Pack – Fairground (60234)
We can expect these new additions to become available with the Mars exploration City set series as summer goes on.
