We’re still months away before the Christmas holidays officially begins, but it seems that LEGO is far from over in spreading some holiday joy. After the re-release of its Christmas themed gift-with-purchase set, we now have a glimpse of what to expect from not one, but four 2019 LEGO Advent Calendar sets which will add more smiles and holiday cheers. Check out these official images, thanks to Promobricks.
LEGO Friends Advent Calendar (41382)
First off, we have the LEGO Friends Advent Calendar (41382). Similar to previous releases, this set basically consists of common LEGO pieces and bricks with an additional LEGO Friends mini-doll thrown into the mix. In typical LEGO Friends fashion, the mini-builds that you can make from this Advent Calendar may be added to your expanding Heartlake City builds. This set is expected to retail for $30 USD which is a bit higher compared to other Advent Calendar sets.
LEGO City Advent Calendar (60235)
The LEGO City Advent Calendar (60235) is back with more fun builds to create. I personally like this set for their simplicity and handful of minifigures that goes along with it. It comes with a total of seven minifigures, including a nice bonus in the form of a husky.
LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar (75245)
The LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar (75245) features a new wave of mini-builds reminiscent of some of the most iconic vehicles and locations in the Star Wars universe. To top it off, it comes with seven minifigures including a new Old Man Luke Skywalker minifig and a cute Santa Porg which I assume will be a sure hit among collectors. This set is expected to retail at the same price range as that of the LEGO Friends Advent Calendar pegged at $30 USD.
LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar (75964)
We now have a new set in this series which will surely be a hit among LEGO Harry Potter fans. The LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar (75964) comes in at 305 pieces and is expected to retail for $25 USD. What is appealing about this set is the way it was designed – not just in any random fashion. It purposively recreates some of the familiar features of the Hogwarts Great Hall, albeit in a scaled-down version. It also comes with an excellent choice of Harry Potter minifigures brought together in one set. I like how LEGO opted to offer the younger versions of Harry, Ron, and Hermoine in this particular set, and I’m very sure that this will be popular to other fans as well.
These 2019 LEGO Advent Calendar sets are expected to arrive in LEGO stores sometime towards the end of August. So be sure to be on the lookout or subscribe in our blog to get the latest updates on these upcoming LEGO sets and more. Thanks once again to Promobricks for sharing these images.
