So, I’m sure that pretty much everybody already knows this, but the new LEGO Star Wars UCS Assault On Hoth 75098 set was revealed earlier today. Of course, many have already seen this on other sites, due to our inability to post pictures during our “error 503” phase — however, now that the site is back up again I thought I might as well post images anyhow!

This fantastic Assault on Hoth 75098 LEGO recreation of the Rebel Force’s Echo Base from Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back has all the details you need to create your own epic ice-planet battles.

I don’t like the look of this set. A UCS is a big investment., it should look and feel special. This looks lke a collection of small £20, £30, £40 sets. The components could easily have been released separately. While I have no doubt it will have lots of playability it has no wow factor.
