More LEGO Star Wars Helmets Coming in March 2023!

In case you missed it, has launched its latest addition to its LEGO Star Wars Helmets series to celebrate 20 years of the Star Wars Clone Wars era. And just in time for their physical debut at this year’s Nuremberg Toy Fair from February 1 to 6, 2023, we can now catch a glimpse of this latest subtheme offering.

This latest addition to the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection takes inspiration from the iconic characters of the Grand Army, particularly Captain Rex and Clone Commander Cody. We first saw the rise of the Clone army in the event of Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones and later during the events of the animated spin-off series The Clone Wars.

We also see another well-known get-up this time from the costume worn by Princess Leia in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. The famous bounty hunter disguise was worn by the Rebel Alliance leader as they infiltrated Jabba the Hut’s lair. This brick-built model also serves as another milestone as the Star Wars fandom celebrates the 40th anniversary of the film.

These LEGO Star Wars Helmets are scheduled to be released on March 1, 2023, with the option to pre-order for $70. Check out the official descriptions and images of these collectibles below. And you may also place your pre-0rder via these affiliate links.

What LEGO MOC Will You Build This Week? Try These Custom LEGO Star Wars Minifigures!

LEGO Star Wars is still going strong in 2023. In fact, 3 out of 10 LEGO sets that were ranked by LEGO fans over at Brickset as their top 10 faves for this year come from the galaxy far away. And for this week’s LEGO MOC build, we’ll focus on these custom LEGO Star Wars minifigures by LEGO fan Nick Chen.

I agree that LEGO has come up with many impressive LEGO Star Wars sets. Due to their design playability or the sheer number of pieces that comprise them, such sets are things of beauty to hold and play with. Now, if you’re like me, you’ll probably want a little bit of this or of that, especially regarding a set with a galaxy filled with so many characters and elements. Probably that’s the reason why I am fond of small collectibles from this part of the LEGO Star Wars galaxy, and I have particularly in mind the LEGO Star Wars Microfighters. With more than 35 sets under this subtheme since 2014, it’s an excellent alternative for their more extensive (and more expensive) siblings of starfighters and vehicles.

One particular LEGO fan probably has the same inclination as much as I do about keeping things small and yet, fun and playable. Nick Chen has a knack for creating tiny LEGO Star Wars ships that are smaller than their Microfighter counterparts – in fact, even smaller than the ones LEGO had before with their LEGO Star Wars Planets back in 2012. Nick came up with a fun idea of having his LEGO Star Wars minifigs donned with their particular ship as costumes and was kind enough to share his work for the LEGO community to enjoy. The photos below came from Nick’s Flickr page. Check some of his customized LEGO Star Wars minifigs below.

These small minifig creations are cute and fun enough to make up your dioramas. You may also create unique scenes, pairing them with any LEGO Star Wars sets that you have.

What do you think? What is your favorite among Nick’s LEGO Star Wars minifig costumes? What micro fighter would you like to pair it up with? Share with us what you think in the comments section below.

The Fans Have Spoken: Here are the Top 15 Most Wanted LEGO Sets of H1 2023

We’re just counting the days before the first wave of LEGO 2023 sets is out. And in case you haven’t finalized your LEGO 2023 wishlist, then you may want to hear what the LEGO fan community has to say. Because thanks to Brickset’s one of many interesting features, you can somehow gauge the sentiment of other equally excited LEGO fan builders and get to see what are the most wanted LEGO sets of 2023 according to Brickset members.

If you wish to know what sets to prioritize this January, then read on and take a look at the top 15 most wanted LEGO sets for 2023. Bear in mind that this is the most accurate data as of this posting, and there will be slight changes as we wrap up this year. However, I believe that these changes may not be that significant to change the ranking of these sets.

Check out these most popular LEGO 2023 sets starting at 1st place and in descending order of likes or being the most wanted.

LEGO Icons Jazz Club (10312)

Most Wanted LEGO Sets

LEGO Star Wars TIE Bomber (75347)

LEGO Harry Potter Triwizard Tournament: The Black Lake (76420)

LEGO Seasonal Money Tree (40648)

LEGO Creator Birdhouse (31143)

LEGO Marvel Superheroes Miles Morales vs. Morbius (76244)

Frankly speaking, this is a cool mix of sets that shows how diverse the interests of our LEGO fan community are. Love them or hate them (I know most of us find it difficult to appreciate that Morbius film, but hey, we still get to see our first minifigure of our vampire superhero probably because of that), these sets are quite attractive not just because of the themes that they represent but also the new parts and elements that they introduce. This is particularly true, especially in the case of LEGO City sets 60384 and 60394 where we get to see a new minifigure costume and otter element. Additionally, in the case of licensed LEGO themes such as Star Wars, LSW fans are certainly hyped for the much-awaited 501st Clone Trooper minifigures (75345) and a new and aptly sized TIE Bomber (75347).

And since a large chunk of LEGO’s market is geared towards the AFOL community, it is somewhat expected to see the first modular set of 2023 make it at the top of this list. The LEGO Icons  Jazz Club (10312) is the king of the hill for the majority of Brickset members even if it means shelling out $230 for this 2,800-piece set.

In the final analysis, consider this list as a guide to knowing what is hot and not for 2023 among LEGO fans. But in the end, you decide on which among these most wanted LEGO sets will it to your final “add-to-cart” list. So what do you think? Are there other LEGO 2023 sets that you want to see in this top 15 list? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

First Wave of LEGO Star Wars 2023 Sets Revealed!

LEGO has officially unveiled its first offering of LEGO Star Wars 2023 sets scheduled to be released next month. Calling back to its original trilogy roots, it’s great to see a LEGO rendition of a starship that is a long time coming. And after exactly 20 years since the first LEGO Star Wars TIE Bomber was introduced, a new and larger re-issue of this set is arriving in January.

There are four LEGO Star Wars 2023 sets initially introduced, one of which is a new version of the infamous starfighter of the Galactic Empire and one that fans of the Clone Wars will be glad to have. Another long overdue set, the LEGO Star Wars 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack will definitely be a hit to fans of the series. Plus the Microfighter subtheme is getting another bump with the exciting addition of Boba Fett’s Slave 1. This is the very first time that we’re seeing the iconic starfighter rendered in brick chibi form.

Check out more details about these sets right here:

The set also includes a buildable AV-7 anti-vehicle cannon with a spring-loaded shooter and a seat for a LEGO minifigure. This popular building toy makes a cool gift for kids, letting them recreate Star Wars: The Clone Wars action and adding extra fun play possibilities to their other LEGO Star Wars sets.

TIE Bomber (75347)

625 pieces | Includes Vice Admiral Slone, Darth Vader, TIE Bomber Pilot, and Gonk Droid minifigures | $64.99

LEGO Star Wars UCS Razor Crest (75331) Listed; Coming October 7

A lot of upcoming new LEGO sets have a tendency of being rebuilds of earlier releases. Builders and collectors don’t mind much. At least the revamps might be from sets that came out years or even decades ago. The reissues also boast greater detail and more “fleshed-out” designs for the most part. Perhaps nowhere is the reimagined LEGO set more welcome than in the LEGO Star Wars corner. Plenty of LEGO renditions for the sci-fi franchise’s space vehicles stand a chance of getting an Ultimate Collector Series version. We already know a key starship from “Star Wars” spinoff “The Mandalorian” will re-debut on the UCS line. It’s finally been listed.

Promobricks notes that LEGO Star Wars UCS Razor Crest (75331) entered LEGO Shop online ahead of its release. The ST-70 assault ship initially used by Mandalorian Din Djarin returns in perhaps its most ultimate LEGO-set version. Despite already being lost in-series the Razor Crest lives on in brick form, which collectors can get October 7. Let’s check the product info:

Ultimate Collectors Series: The Razor Crest (75331)

Age 18+ | 6,187 pieces | 3 minifigures + 1 LEGO figure | $599.99 | Coming October 7

  • The Mandalorian’s armored transport shuttle – Recall memorable Star Wars: The Mandalorian scenes with this LEGO® Star Wars™ Ultimate Collector Series build-and-display model of The Razor Crest (75331)
  • 5 Star Wars™ characters – The Mandalorian, The Mythrol and Kuiil LEGO® minifigures, a Grogu LEGO figure in a pram, and a buildable Blurrg LEGO figure to fit inside The Razor Crest’s cargo compartment
  • Easy-access, detailed interior – Removable engines and cockpit, 2 side hatches and a cargo compartment with space for the Blurrg, a weapons cabinet and LEGO® minifigure-size carbon-freezing chamber
  • Detachable escape pod – The escape pod has space inside for a minifigure. Display the LEGO® minifigures and figures on the stand next to the plaque, which shows the vital facts about The Razor Crest

You might recall the leaked image of this UCS Razor Crest set’s sticker sheet. Said sheet includes a sticker with specs for the info-plaque piece. If a Q&A during LEGO’s recent fan event in Billund is right, this set 75331 might among be the last. By that we mean of Star Wars UCS sets having sticker decals for the info plaque. Apparently future products will have the details printed right on the plaque. Still, it’s far off enough to not have to ponder over.
