In a very surprising and delightful move, LEGO and Warner Bros. Interactive recently released two teasers over the LEGO Dimensions Facebook page that hints on things to come for LEGO’s toys-to-life genre. The teasers hints on what have been already discussed (extensively) within the LEGO community about upcoming sets that will be included in what has been dubbed as LEGO Dimensions 2.

The first teaser has Batman crashing in on a cave and asking, “What took you so long?”. LEGO Dimensions fans have been clamoring for this latest reveal considering that all of the LEGO Dimensions packs announced to date have been released and this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) begins this coming weekend. We also know that Supergirl and Green Arrow will make their way in LEGO Dimensions considering that their polybag counterparts have been confirmed already and are now making rounds over eBay.

The most recent teaser, however, seems to be more exciting with LEGO Dimensions hinting on a cryptic message that every avid fan of the Harry Potter series is very aware of.

As pointed out by Allen over at The Brick Fan, these lines came from Lord Voldemort’s first lines in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2: “Only I can I live forever”. This also confirms what have been discussed before in several LEGO fan forums that Harry Potter and another J.K. Rowling creation, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find will soon make their way in LEGO Dimensions.

It’s interesting to note that gaming sites such as Press Start, are quite positive that other than Harry Potter, the following themes will soon be added to the roster of LEGO Dimensions 2.

Fantastic-Beasts

  • Sonic
  • The Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them
  • Adventure Time
  • Ghostbusters Reboot
  • Mission Impossible
  • Teen Titans
  • The Goonies
  • Powerpuff Girls

It’s quite an interesting list actually, though I am not personally sold out on the idea of having a LEGO Dimensions Mission Impossible set. Definitely, all our questions will be answered once LEGO drops the exciting news on Thursday. What do you think will LEGO reveal on the 9th? Share us what you think in the comments section below.
