LEGO Ninjago Movie Promotions Throughout the Week: A New Poster, BTS Featurette, and New McDonald Happy Meal Toys.

We’re just counting the days before The LEGO Ninjago Movie hits the big screen on Friday! Throughout the past week, promotions are now put into high gear with LEGO and Warner Bros. Animation Group releasing several promotional materials that adds more fun and reason to see the film.

Earlier this week, the “unstoppable beast” now gets a poster of her own, courtesy of Dolby Cinema. Meowthra may seem to be cute by human standards, but if you’re reduced to a 2-inch minifigure then the sight of her is pure, absolute terror. The way it looks like, Meowthra seems to be an offshoot of one of The LEGO Movie‘s narratives – the unintended intersection between the human and minifigure worlds. I guess Garmadon will have the upper hand on this one with his laser pointer (as seen in the Green Ninja Mech Dragon 70612 set) directing Meowthra in her path of destruction.

Our TLNM characters also get a share of the spotlight with a behind-the-scenes featurette and minifig interviews courtesy of ComicBook.com, which of course tends, to be a little bit inflated when it comes to the question of how much of The LEGO Ninjago Movie is dedicated to them.

Finally, Fast Food Toys revealed that LEGO has teamed up once more with McDonalds in coming up with the latter’s latest series of Happy Meal toys. Similar to The LEGO Batman Movie’s line of Happy Meal toys, the LEGO Ninjago Movie will likewise receive the same treatment from the popular fast food chain. The LEGO Ninjago Movie line of McDonald’s Happy Meal toys includes a Dragon Periscope, Master Wu Secret Message Kit, Ninjago Movie Camera Viewer, Ninjago Movie Selfie Phone, Ninjago Movie Journal, and a Ninjago Movie Cup.

Please note that these latest series of Happy Meal toys may not be available in all McDonalds store, and we have to wait and see if and when this will be released. Let us know in the comments below if you were able to spot these toys in any McDonalds store near you.
