2018 LEGO Super Heroes Mighty Micros Revealed!

LEGO’s chibi-sized Mighty Micros theme has proven to be popular among LEGO Marvel and DC Comics fans. Other than the silly, cartoonish designs of the sets, the subtheme has offered a handful of minifigure iterations of favorite superheroes that you can never find in any typical LEGO set. And of course, match them up with their equally wacky rides, then you have one seriously fun playset.

As it seems, LEGO is continuing this line of fun, cool subtheme with 6 sets slated for release in 2018. Thanks to BrickHeroes, we now have our first look at all six of them. I personally like these sets as compared to previous releases, especially on how the designers playfully created each minifig’s vehicle. For example, we see the Sandman driving his own dump truck while Spiderman keeps him at bay, not with his typical web shooters, but using a handy shovel (someone must clean up the mess, right?). Or seeing Star Lord chasing Nebula on board his micro Milano, just to get his #1 prized possession: his Awesome Mix Tape Volume 2 (which seems to be the very first printed tile piece for this iconic casette tape).

Each set (3 from Marvel, and 3 from DC) is expected to retail for €9.99 or $9.99, and will be available sometime during the first quarter of 2018. Check out the rest of these images.
