In fact, the LEGO Ideas platform has announced a new activity where you can even submit your own LEGO Ideas custom background for everybody to enjoy. These are trying times, and I appreciate it that members of the LEGO fan community are doing whatever they can to somehow ease each other’s stay-at-home burdens. So whether you feel like you want to show that you are chased by a dinosaur or videoconferencing from out space, these brick-inspired custom backgrounds have you covered.

These LEGO Ideas custom backgrounds are not a first though. If you recall, LEGO.com also released a series of wallpapers through its online shopping portal as part of its #LetsBuildTogether campaign.

You may head over to lego.com/en-us/themes/letsbuildtogether/backgrounds to download these fun wallpapers and backgrounds.

For instructions on how to use these backgrounds for your next video conference, you may want to read this article from the LEGO Ideas blogsite. You can also find high-resolution images of these backgrounds right there. They’ve provided a handy how-to guide for Zoom and Microsoft Teams users, including for Mac users. And if you have your custom LEGO background to share, do check and participate at this LEGO Ideas Create a Custom Background for Video Calls Activity. The nice thing about this is that the LEGO Ideas Team opted to remove any deadline and has kept the activity open for the foreseeable future.

So what do you think? Which among these backgrounds are your personal favorites? Talk to us in the comments below.
