LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Summer 2020 Lineup Officially Announced

Earlier today, Yahoo has just announced the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes summer 2020 lineup of sets that pays tribute to the Earth’s mightiest heroes. It’s been more than a year since we saw the conclusion of MCU’s Phase 4 in Avengers: Endgame and this time around LEGO is throwing another batch of sets that relive those action-packed moments. Same as before, they may not accurately reflect those particular MCU scenes, but LEGO’s brick renditions are still to be desired. And to top it off, this summer 2020 series now gives our first brick-built Iron Man Bust in tribute to the legacy of Tony Stark.

While two of these are now listed at LEGO Shop@Home, the remaining LEGO Marvel Super Heroes summer 2020 sets, including the Iron Man Bust, are still to be included. You may want to click on the following links below if you wish to add them to your LEGO wishlist. Yahoo also mentions a Target release date of June, so we’ll have to see if these sets will also be available at LEGO stores by then. Check out these images courtesy of Yahoo and the Laughing Place.

  1. To rectify about the new Avengers sets, their NOT based on the MCU, they are meant to tie in with the new Avengers game that is set to be released this year.

    1. Thanks for pointing this out. The article from Yahoo mentioned Avengers Endgame as a reference so I assumed that LEGO took inspiration from the MCU with regards to these. Saw the trailer of the video game btw, and its awesome! 🙂
