Our past LEGO Ideas updates have been one 10-K supported set entering review after another. Maybe some newly-released official Ideas set, or platform contest progress, gets added in on occasion. Well, let’s break the monotony with this report. If it’s no summary of submissions for a closed Review Stage then it can only mean one thing: results announcement. We last covered this in October last year, and that was only for the First 2021 Review Stage. The LEGO Ideas blog now gives us the result of Second 2021 Review Stage. It also states the fate of one First 2021 submission that got its decision deferred.
So, LEGO Ideas Second 2021 Review contained comprised 34 product ideas with 10-K support. Of these aspiring sets, only two got the nod from the review crew. One’s an original idea; the other will be getting a license from one of South Korea’s big entertainment labels. To be precise, A-Frame Cabin by Andrea “Norton74” Lattanzio and BTS’s “Dynamite” by JBBrickFanatic and BangtanBricks prevailed.

BTS’s “Dynamite” by Josh “JBBrickFanatic” Bretz and Jacob/“BangtanBricks”
These two will become official LEGO Ideas sets in the future. Meanwhile, the Ideas reviewers have shot down First 2021 holdover, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by Hanwasyellowfirst. It’s too bad; this build was redesigned to gain 10-K support a second time. It still wasn’t enough.
Next on the agenda will be the 36 entries on the LEGO Ideas Third 2021 Review Stage. We’ll probably hear from the reviewers sometime this mid-2022.
