Elusive LEGO Star Wars R3-M2 40268 Polybag Found at LEGOLAND California.

The hard to find LEGO Star Wars R3-M2 (40268) has now been spotted locally. LEGO’s version of the astromech droid which made his debut in Rogue One last year, has been first discovered in Romania, before its official images were uploaded to LEGO’s servers. The LEGO Star Wars R3-M2 has been quite popular recently because of what it may suggest as a new line of collectible minifigures, and the inclusion of a stand or base to display the minifig.

We were somewhat clueless on where to get R3-M2 without buying from scalpers for exuberant prices. Thanks from a tip from The Brick Fan, it has been reported that elusive LEGO Star Wars R3-M2 (40268) polybag has been spotted at LEGOLAND California as part of its promotion. The photo below indicates that visitors at the theme park may get R3-M2 for FREE for every $55 worth of Star Wars products either at the Big Shop or Empire Emporium. The promotional will run until March 19 or while supplies last.

There is no word yet when it will be posted at shop.LEGO.com, even if its official images were uploaded already. Will LEGO’s Rogue One astromech droid be part of an upcoming promotional just in time for May the 4th celebrations? What do you think brick fans?

  1. We just got one at Legoland Discovery Center, Boston. Was one of the collectible options we could choose from when we bought the Extra Value Package for our son. ($4 more than standard ticket)
