LEGO Bags Toy of the Year Award and Other Recognitions from the Toy Industry Association.

It has been customary for the Toy Industry Association Inc. to grant several prestigious awards to certain toy manufacturers for their outstanding contribution to the toy industry. Before this year’s New York Toy Fair officially kicks off a few hours from now, the TIAI has the distinct honor of bestowing to the LEGO Group the coveted Toy of the Year Award, the Construction Toy of the Year, and Specialty Toy of the Year awards as well. The winning set to be awarded with the double recognition for being the Toy of the Year and Construction Toy of the Year was visually and mechanically impressive LEGO Friends Amusement Park Roller Coaster (41130). The Specialty Toy of the Year was handed down to the stunning LEGO Disney Castle (71040)
