Earlier this month, we reported on another possible promotional set that is expected to be a hit among collectors. The LEGO Brand Store (40305) was expected to be a promotional set, thought to be given away at a particular LEGO Store opening. However, as the weeks roll by, sightings of the LEGO Brand Store (40305) set on store shelves across the globe suggest that this is not a promotional set that we once thought of. Other than being sold at LEGOLAND Billund, like we previously mentioned, Brickfinder reports that the LEGO Brand Store is also placed on sale and on display at store shelves in LEGOLAND Malaysia. This recent development is very much welcomed, especially for collectors who will be spared from going through the secondary market just to have this set for outrageous prices.
If these sightings of the LEGO Brand Store (40305) set are encouraging, the release of the set’s official images via LEGO’s servers further strengthens the notion that we might see this at our local LEGO Store anytime soon. Check out these images below.
The LEGO Brand Store (40305) has two minifigures: a LEGO Store employee and a child customer. LEGO also throws in a white microfig which is also pretty neat and helps emphasize that this set is a LEGO Store replica. It follows a modular design, with a detachable second floor, and other play features. We have no exact word yet on when this set will be available in the US, but given the conversion rate and estimated piece count, it is expected that the set might retail between $20 to $25. Stay tuned for more updates!
