It has been a month since The LEGO Batman Movie has aired on the big screen and since then, it has raked in a total of $230 million in the box office besting the rest of the films that debuted during that period. A few moments ago, we reported that bookseller Barnes & Noble will be hosting an in-store TLBM Make and Take event this Saturday, and as it seems, LEGOLAND Florida has also come up with a fantastic weekend to celebrate everything that we loved about the film.
On March 11 and 12, fans and park visitors can get to celebrate with the iconic crime fighter in what was called as The LEGO Batman Movie Days. This event has begun already this past weekend, March 4 and 5, and will be concluded this coming Saturday and Sunday from 10AM to 6PM. As mentioned by LEGOLAND Florida’s official blog site, each weekend is loaded with tons of games and activities that everyone in the family will enjoy. Here are some of the things you should expect during this weekend’s The LEGO Batman Movie Days.
Each weekend will be a battle of good versus evil with bat-loads of activities including:
- Batmobile Racers – build your favorite vehicle from THE LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE™ and race them in Imagination Zone.
- THE LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE™ Mosaic Build – help us build a giant LEGO mural inspired by the latest big-screen adventure.
- Meet LEGO® BATMAN – bask in the awesomeness of the vigilante himself in Market Plaza.
- LEGO® Bat-Signal Scavenger Hunt – count the hidden bat-signals throughout the cities of MINILAND USA for a chance to win a LEGO prize pack. *Receive a commemorative LEGO brick while supplies last.
- Awesome surprises your little super hero is sure to love. Our Master Model Builders will help bring LEGO BATMAN’s greatest villain to life outside The LEGO Factory Experience. This 7-foot-tall model of LEGO Joker will leave you smiling.
The resort’s very own Big Shop and LEGO Studio Store are also running a TLBM promotional where for every $30 worth of any LEGO sets, entitles you for a free, undisclosed gift. Things just get better, especially for all Annual Pass holders because for every purchase of any LEGO Batman product allows you to bring home a TLBM collectible minifig keychain, Kiss Kiss Tuxedo Batman (5004928).
What I find particularly interesting about this promotional is the free gift that guests will receive upon purchase of $30 worth of LEGO products. Will this be the LEGO Batman Movie Batman Bottle Pod (5004929) that was rumored to be available at LEGOLAND California?
