LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham E3 Gameplay

There are some new details from DC All Access and Gamespot coming out of E3 for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. In the videos below, you can see some gameplay footage of what appears to be the first stage of the game where you begin in space. Here you fly around in a side-scrolling stage collecting power-ups and defeating Joker’s minions.

Another cool feature is the Suit Wheels that various characters have including Batman, Robin, and Cyborg. Cyborg has several different suits including Magnet, Space, Giant, Sonar, Demolition, and Stealth.

Some other things that Game Director Arthur Parsons mentioned were the game hub would look like The LEGO Movie and would have many locations like the Batcave, Hall of Justice, the Watchtower, and Hall of Doom. There will also be a bonus exclusive minifigure for pre-ordering but that is a secret for now.

LEGO Lightsabers Reaches 10,000 Supporters on LEGO Ideas

The LEGO Lightsabers: Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker project is the latest project to get 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. It consists of what the title says, two brick-built lightsabers representing what Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader used from the Return of the Jedi. There is also a stand to display them as well as a small vignette showing the duel.

A new image of one of the new LEGO Minecraft minifigure scale has surfaced a few days ago. The image shows The Ender Dragon 21117 set which includes the boss mob and four Enderman mobs. The Enderman in this set are taller than the ones in the Micro World 21107 (see below). The set pictured above may just be a prototype and not the final version of the set.

LEGO Ideas Female Minifigure Set Chosen as Next Official Product

On the LEGO Ideas blog, they have revealed the next official product, the Research Institute. The set is based on Alatariel’s Female Minifigure Set and will feature three female scientists. As we reported earlier, the set will have set number 21110 and will retail for $19.95.

 

Next LEGO Ideas Product Could Be Based on Female Minifigure Set

An interesting article came out from The Brick Fan yesterday regarding the next LEGO Ideas product. A post from a thread on future product releases and rumored prices on Brickpicker just says “21110 Research Institute $19.95” and suggests that the next official set will be based on the Female Minifigure Set. TBF put together some points such as the set number which comes after the Exo Suit 21109 and the set name which was listed in the project description. The project proposed by Alatariel included 3 minifigures including an astronomer, a paleontologist, and a chemist.

LEGO Shop July 2014 Calendar Promotions

The July 2014 LEGO store calendar is now available and there are a lot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles promos going on in the month. The main promo for July is a Flashback Shredder minifigure with a $75 purchase or more. VIP members can get an extra 50 VIP points by purchasing the Turtle Sub Undersea Chase 79121. The Monthly Mini Build will be a beach van. From July 18-31, VIP members can get early access to a new exclusive set. On July 24th, LEGO will announce a new set at San Diego Comic Con. This set could be the UCS Tumbler we reported on earlier.

More Details of LEGO Star Wars UCS Slave I

More details are coming out from Eurobricks of the rumored LEGO Star Wars UCS Slave I that is supposedly being released later this year. The information was obtained by the forum member from a LEGO product design manager and suggests that the set will be based on Boba Fett’s starship. The Boba Fett minifigure will have a new design and the model of the ship will be similar to the size of the Imperial Star Destroyer 75055.
