PokeMOCs! Gotta Catch Them All!

If you haven’t played Pokemon GO just yet, then you might be missing out on a ton of pocket-sized fun. Pocket monsters or Pokemon has been around for more than 20 years – and probably older than most players of the hit augmented reality video game. As of to date, the sheer number of Pokemon that Nintendo’s franchise has spawned is simply colossal. From a humble list of 151 original Pokemon, the roster has expanded to more than 800 creatures.

Paying tribute to the first generation of pocket monsters that started a worldwide trend, Master Builder Carson Hart has come up with his brick-built rendition of all 151 original Pokemons that you’ll surely want to catch. The fact that he was able to pull through all 151 Pokemeon MOCs is just phenomenal. See for yourself.

Though you have to strain your eyes a little bit to see some of them, Carson’s clever use of bricks (or even just a single piece of LEGO element such as a minifigure head) never fails to impress. From smallest PokeMOC to the largest one, this is one LEGO pocket monster collection that I wouldn’t mind catching. I personally like how Charizard, Onix, Lapras, and Snorlax turned out. Perhaps Carson would like to consider this as a LEGO Ideas project. This will definitely get my vote.
