It seems that we still have another 2018 LEGO City that is still kept under wraps after the first waves of official images were released by LEGO last October and November. Thanks to Promobricks founder Michael Friedrichs, we now have another 2018 LEGO City that seems to have fallen off of our radar, and has been spotted somewhere in Spain, in Madrid to be exact.
Spotted in the wild during the grand opening of Spain’s first ever LEGO Certified Store in La Vaguada shopping center in Madrid, we now have our first image of the LEGO City Become My City Hero (40302) polybag. Take a look.
With a retail price of 4.99 Euros, the LEGO City Become My City Hero (40302) polybag does not give a hint on its piece count. However, based on the above image, we can probably assume a piece count of somewhere between 90-130 pieces. The polybag seems to be more of an add-on to the Mountain Police subtheme of 2018’s LEGO City sets, and features what looks like to be a sort of a hideout for crooks to put away their stolen money, a raft, and mountain police/ranger and dog minifigures.
Unlike the first wave of 2018 LEGO City that came out and was spotted at some Toys R Us stores early in November, this particular polybag is still yet to make an appearance in the US. It also looks like that there’s not so much play features included in this polybag set, but we just have to wait and see once we find this in local toy stores.
Thanks again to Promobricks for giving us a heads-up. Credit goes to Michael for snapping these photos, and sharing them online.
