The hype may have long died down at this point, but we’re sure lifelong LEGO fans can still remember the warm reception given to LEGO’s unbelievable achievement of using Technic pieces to create a working replica of the life-sized LEGO Bugatti Chiron sports car. By now that life-sized LEGO car may perhaps be more popular than the actual LEGO Technic Chiron (42083) introduced earlier in June.
We know that LEGO has sent their brick-built Bugatti Chiron on a European tour, making stops at racetracks or car shows along the way. The last we heard was that it was an “honored guest” at the Paris Motor Show this early October. Its next stop: across the English Channel.
Indeed, the life-sized LEGO Bugatti Chiron that impressed even veteran professional drivers despite its sub par top speed will now be making its way across the UK. On the first day of November it’ll be on proud display at the Westfield London.
Next, brick car will move to Westfield Stratford on November 3, before finally arriving at the Bluewater Dartford on November 8. So next month it’ll be England’s turn to get a closer look at The LEGO Group’s proud creation. Visitors will be allowed to rev the Power Functions-powered engine and fiddle with its other features.
