New reveals just keep coming in from the LEGO Booth at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in Germany. A new LEGO Architecture set has been introduced and it is said to be the largest LEGO set offered under the said theme. The LEGO Architecture The White House (21054) has been revealed and, if the reported numbers are correct, comes in at an impressive 1,500+ piece count.
Same as with other new LEGO summer 2020 sets on display, photography or filming is not allowed so we have to refer to Zusammengebaut who has been on the floor of the International Toy Fair. Accordingly, the LEGO Architecture The White House (21054) is also the first-ever set to be tagged with an “18+” label. It may refer to the difficulty level of building this set which caters specifically to adult LEGO fans. Though the label mentions that the set contains 3,700 pieces, this was actually reported as an error in printing. Once complete, The White House (21054) will measure at an impressive 50 centimeters in length, which is already substantial for an elegant display set.

The arrival of this set is a long time coming. If you recall, the last time that LEGO released a similar set was way back in 2010 with the LEGO Architecture The White House (21006). It is a sort of microscaled model with only 500 and more pieces. But with the arrival of its successor, we can expect a more detailed and fine-tuned version of the US executive headquarters.
The newer LEGO Architecture The White House (21054) is expected to arrive in June 2020 and will have an expected retail price of €99.99. It joins other newer LEGO sets revealed at the Toy Fair, namely those from the LEGO City, Creator, and Friends themes.
Wait is the largest in the theme by volume? So this beats out Robie House? Or is it by area of the plate the set is on?
As in other themes, it’s usually in terms of the number of pieces unless otherwise specified by LEGO.
