LEGO Marvel Black Widow’s Helicopter Chase (76162) First Images Released!

Black Widow's Helicopter Chase (76162)

It’s confirmed – MCU’s spin-off film Black Widow now officially gets the LEGO treatment. Yahoo! has just revealed the LEGO Marvel Black Widow’s Helicopter Chase (76162) featuring what seems to be one of the key scenes that were shown early on its official teaser trailer. This latest MCU-inspired LEGO set is one of the many Black Widow tie-in merchandises that will roll-in the next months leading to the film’s release in May.

Black Widow's Helicopter Chase (76162)

The LEGO Marvel Black Widow’s Helicopter Chase (76162) set comes in at 271 pieces and features a newer minifig version of Black Widow, Yelena Belova, and Taskmaster. Perhaps what is most interesting about this minifigure lineup is the character of Taskmaster. He (or she?) comes with a minifig accessory that features a stealth slash sword that also acts as a shield.

Black Widow's Helicopter Chase (76162)

As Yahoo reports, the Black Widow’s Helicopter Chase (76162) will have an early release in Target stores starting March 1, and at Disney Parks in April. It is yet to be seen if this is an exclusive release limited only to these stores and locations, but my best guess is that it will arrive later on at LEGO Shop@Home. We’re not sure also if this is the only set to be offered under this subtheme like what LEGO did with the Captain Marvel and Skrull Attack (76127). As a matter of fact, there’s seems to be no discernable formula on which particular film will get a LEGO tie-in set or two, so we just have to wait and see until Black Widow arrives on the big screen.

Here’s what Yahoo has to say about the Black Widow Helicopter Chase (76162).

Get airborne with a 271-piece Lego set recreating what’s sure to be one of the most explosive action set-pieces in Black Widow. Natasha and Yelena take the fight to Taskmaster aboard the villain’s personal chopper, tricked out with four stud shooters and twin rifles with deadly aim.
Available for $29.99 at Target on March 1 and at Disney Parks in April.

So what do you think about this new LEGO set? How much do you think this  LEGO set will be movie-accurate? Let us know in the comments below.
