Summer has kicked in, and LEGO inspires us to think-out-of-the-box and to reinvent what it means to have fun during this season. As the threat of COVID-19 is still very real, we can still make summer fun and exciting with the wave of new LEGO sets now available at the LEGO Store, plus a couple of nice freebies to go along with it. These and much more are highlighted in the online version of the LEGO Store July 2020 Store Calendar. Let’s take a quick look at what it has to offer.
Free LEGO Creator Creative Fun 12-in-1 (40411) Set
Offer valid from July 1-26, 2020
Free LEGO Back to School Pack (5005969)
Offer valid from July 27 to 29, 2020
This next promotional item has a quite short promo period, scheduled to be available only for three days. However, it will appeal mostly to younger LEGO fans who take pride in showing their love for the brick. For every LEGO purchase worth $50 or more from July 27 to 29 will qualify you for a free LEGO Back to School Pack (5005969). This stationery freebie comes with a neat transparent pencil case, CMF character stickers, ruler, pencil, a notebook, and a nice brick-shaped eraser.
Free LEGO Christmas Tree (40338)
Offer valid from July 24-26, 2020
It’s an early holiday treat from LEGO as they bring back one of 2019’s gift-with-purchase set. The LEGO Christmas Tree (40338) will be added to your cart for free from July 24-26 when your LEGO purchase reaches $100 and above. This brick-built tree comes in at an impressive 392 pieces and is a perfect ornament for that Holiday Winter Village that you’re planning to display.
LEGO VIPs Monthly Sweepstakes – Limited Edition Bizarro Minifigure
Enter online at the VIP Reward Center from July 13-August 2, 2020
It looks like LEGO intends this to be a regular thing. Following the return of the LEGO Deadpool Duck Minifigure (SDCC 2017 promotional exclusive) as a VIP Sweepstakes prize earlier this month, another SDCC exclusive added to the roster of VIP rewards. The limited-edition LEGO DC Comics Superheroes Bizarro Minifigure is the next sweepstakes prize up for grabs. This rare minifigure made its debut at SDCC 2012 as a ComicCon promotional with only 1,000 or so minifigs made for the said event. You may enter online from July 13 to August 2, with 50 VIP points per sweepstakes entry.
And similar to previous months, the LEGO Store July 2020 Store Calendar shows no indication of any LEGO in-store activities slated for next month as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19. However, LEGO promises to gradually re-open all of its stores as long as the proper health protocols are in place. So for the time being, be sure to check out the many LEGO sets scheduled to be released in July and August such as the LEGO Disney Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Buildable Characters (43179) and a plethora of LEGO Super Mario expansion sets to name a few.
