Earlier this month we covered the announcement of a new DLC pack for the popular and (fairly) recently-released LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. Said content is themed after the also recent Marvel Comics superhero team The Champions, composed of some of their more prominent teen hero characters of this time.
Back then only available for preorder on online sources like Amazon, now the Champions DLC for LMSH2 is finally available to download by owners of the game on PC/Xbox One, PS4 and the Nintendo Switch. The inclusion of these new characters now puts the current playable roster past 200 characters.
Just to recap, here are the new heroes available to play on LMSH2 with the Champions DLC:
- Ironheart/Riri Williams – Tony Stark’s/Iron Man’s “protégé”
- Moon Girl/Lunella Lafayette – Inhuman girl genius
- Devil Dinosaur – Moon Girl’s companion T-Rex
- Viv Vision & Sparky – Vision’s synthezoid daughter and pet dog
- “Totally Awesome” Hulk/Amadeus Cho – teen genius and Bruce Banner/Hulk fanboy
- Wasp/Nadia Pym – biological daughter of Hank Pym/Ant-Man
- Kate Bishop – the female Hawkeye
- Nova/Sam Alexander – latest-generation Nova
For owners or the base LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 game, they can download the DLC for $1.99, but for those who have availed of the LMSH2 Deluxe Edition (for Switch and PS4 thus far), they can simply DL it free of charge.
And the DLC train doesn’t end there for LEGO Marvel. They’ve got a long-term release schedule going, with more DLC packs coming soon themed after MCU films and TV series, like Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and The Inhumans.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today the characters in Champions, the next downloadable Character Pack for LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes 2. The upcoming pack, priced at $1.99, will add characters from Marvel Comics’ popular Champions comic book series, offering players the chance to unleash the limitless strength of Amadeus Cho and supersonic flight of Nova. The Champions character pack can be purchased separately or as part of the Season Pass, which provides access to six Level Packs and four Character Packs, including the previously released Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 , and the Out of Time and Agents of Atlas Character Packs. The Season Pass is available for $14.99 or as part of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Deluxe Edition, which features the main game, access to the Classic Guardians of the Galaxy Character Pack, and an exclusive Giant-Man LEGO Minifigure (Minifigure only available in the physical version of the Deluxe Edition).
