It looks like the LEGO Store Calendar for the month of August 2018 has been sent out early, and eventually, new polybag has been revealed – the LEGO Unikitty Castle Room (5005239). This is the second polybag offering that LEGO has announced following the reveal of the Unikitty Roller Coaster Wagon (30406) which will launch on August 1 together with the rest of the LEGO Unikitty sets featuring the ever so positive local resident of Cloud Cuckoo Land.
A closer look at the polybag’s image (courtesy of Brickfinder) reveals that the polybag contains a cardboard cutout that features a cross-section of Unikitty’s castle crib. It contains several pieces of brightly colored LEGO pieces to create her couch and aquarium, along with the usual brick-built figure of Unikitty with a unique face print. It also includes a sticker sheet to add more fun and color to the cardboard cutout.
As mentioned in the August LEGO Store Caledar, the LEGO Unikitty Castle Room (5005239) comes as a free promotional for every $25 worth of LEGO Unikitty sets. Though opinions are mixed with regards to the reception of the LEGO Unikitty sets, a lot of younger LEGO fans find these as a must-have to their LEGO collection. Including this polybag as a promotional with a relatively low price point surely adds to the appeal of these upcoming sets.
