LEGO Store October Calendar Now Up!

The LEGO Store October Calendar has been released, and taking the spotlight is this year’s highly celebrated, and largest LEGO set of all time. Starting October 1, the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon (75192) will be available to the general public both at LEGO Stores and shop.LEGO.com. This and much more will be happening throughout the month of October so let’s check it out.

October 1: Own the largest LEGO set ever produced – The LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192)!

75192 1VIP members may have an early start beginning September 14, but the rest of the world and legions of LEGO Star Wars fans may now have the chance to have their own LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium (75192). Retailing at $800, the largest LEGO set to date comes in at 7,541 pieces and comes in two modes of play features: you can either play out classic LEGO Star Wars adventures with Han, Leia, Chewbacca and C-3PO, or enter the world of Episode VII and VIII with older Han, Rey, Finn and BB-8!

September 22 – October 8: Free The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30609) minifigure polybag with a purchase of $50 or more, while supplies last.

First discovered on eBay a few weeks ago, this free exclusive minifigure comes with a unique printed torso, and a new tasseled sword piece.

October 1-31: Free LEGO Friends Keepsake Box (40266) with a LEGO Friends purchase of $25 or more, while supplies last.

The LEGO Friends Keepsake or Storage Box (40266) comes in at 105 pieces and actually functions as its name suggests. It sports two compartments: a covered, top compartment and a sliding drawer in front. It’s a pretty neat and functional build if I should say so, and comes at a relatively lower price point compared to other promotionals.

October 3-4: Free VIP Monthly Mini Model Build which is a Robot (40248)

To reserve your spot, simply register for the October MMB by visiting shop.LEGO.com/Minibuild-Registration starting September 15. The LEGO MMB is meant for children ages 6 to 14, and must be completely built in store.

October 10-25: VIP members get a Free exclusive VIP Set (40178) with a purchase of $125 or more, while supplies last. Also during this time, you get Double VIP points on all items.

If you recall, we first spotted this exclusive VIP set as a promotional in LEGO Store Shanghai in China back in July. It was given away then to all VIP customers with a minimum single receipt purchase worth 399 CNY and above. Thankfully, this dragon-inspired build is now available to all LEGO VIP members in the US for a minimum purchase of $125 worth of LEGO products. It seems to be a pretty nice set, especially with regards to the creative rendition of the Pick A-Brick Wall, LEGO box sets (though it uses stickers), and the collectible LEGO Store employee minifigure. As an added treat, all LEGO VIP members may once more take advantage of the Double VIP points promotional during this time.

October 14: Halloween Themed Building Event – Build Your Own Witch (40070).

Sign up to build and take home your very own Halloween-themed Witch model based on October 2013’s Monthly Mini Build which comes in at 22 pieces. Similar to the MMBs, in-store participation is limited to children ages 6 to 14, and registration will be on a first come, first serve basis due to its limited quantities.

As a last note, it’s good to know that the recently discovered LEGO BrickHeadz The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (41487) set will be available for purchase at all LEGO Stores in October.

First spotted as a Toys R Us exclusive, the LEGO BrickHeadz Lloyd set is also paired with a Master Wu (41488) BrickHeadz set both of which will retail for $9.99 each. We don’t have a definite date of release as of the moment as far as LEGO Stores are concerned, though the ones announced by TRU will be available starting October 1.
