The month of February is just around the corner, and LEGO Stores are gearing up for its next wave of promotions that will level up our LEGO shopping experience. The February 2020 LEGO Store Calendar puts the spotlight on the next LEGO Ideas set that most of you are probably excited for. Read on for the neat promotions and incentives that are up for grabs next month at your local LEGO Store.
Free Exclusive Space Patch for LEGO VIPs
Promo period: February 1 – 9, 2020
LEGO VIPs who are eyeing to get the LEGO Ideas International Space Station (21321) will be happy to know that LEGO is throwing in a limited-edition Space Patch for every purchase of the said set. If you remember back in May last year that LEGO also offered a similar promo as an incentive to those who bought the LEGO Creator Expert NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander (10266). I’m not really into collecting patches but if I will have my way, I will still prefer to have a free and exclusive LEGO set to go along with my new LEGO Ideas ISS. This latest Space Patch will be available from February 1 to 9 both online and in-store or until supplies last.
Free LEGO Hidden Side Drag Racer (40408)
Promo period: January 24 – February 9, 2020
If you’re planning to get the LEGO Ideas ISS, then be sure to check this next freebie in your cart. The LEGO Hidden Side Drag Racer (40408) promo has gone live already starting last Friday and you can still get this one until February 9. Qualifying purchases of any LEGO products worth $45 and more will entitle you to this set, or while supplies last.
Free LEGO Friends Chocolate Box and Flower (30411)
Promo period: February 7 – February 14, 2020
Here’s another brick treat just in time for Valentine’s Day. From February 7 to 14, any single-receipt purchase of $35 and more will allow you to bring home a free LEGO Friends Chocolate Box and Flower (30411) polybag. At 75 pieces, it’s a nice desk accessory to celebrate Happy Hearts Day. If you time your LEGO purchases with the intention of getting the LEGO Ideas ISS and its exclusive VIP patch at the same time (granted that supplies are steady), then the best time to get it will be from February 7-8. Making your purchases during these dates is a sure way to bag all these freebies.
Explore the New 2020 LEGO City Sets
February 1 to 29, 2020
Visit any LEGO Store near you through the entire month of February to have a hands-on, try-before-you-buy experience with the latest 2020 LEGO City Police sets. New play features include the use of magnets (such as those found in the LEGO City Helicopter Chase (60243) and Police Monster Truck Heist (60245)), lights and sounds (Police Station (60246) which is available with double VIP points until January 31) and parachutes (Parachute Arrest (60208) and Sky Police Air Base (60210)) for your LEGO City Police minifigs. It’s a great way to have a feel of these play features before you decide to buy them.
Adult Valentine’s Bear Build and Take Event
February 11, 2020
You may want to hurry and register for this one. Specifically for AFOLs only, this Valentine’s Bear Build and Take event is happening on February 11 at the local LEGO Store near you. Build an adorable mini Teddy Bear with a customizable heart for someone special just before Valentine’s Day. This event is intended for participants 18 years old and above, and pre-registration is required starting February 4.
Build, Unbuild and Rebuild
February 20, 2020
Visit your local LEGO Store between 4–7PM of February 20 to learn how to Build, Unbuild and Rebuild with any LEGO set. With a Brick Specialist leading the way, the possibilities on what children can create are just limitless. All participants will receive a small gift for participating. Pre-registration is required and will start on February 4 in stores
only. This event is intended for ages kids 6–14.
The LEGO Ideas International Space Station (21321) will be joined by the LEGO Creator Expert Old Trafford – Manchester United (10272) on their launch day on February 1 (for non-LEGO VIPs). And with all the promos and in-store events lined-up in the February 2020 LEGO Store Calendar, I’m certain that fans will not leave any LEGO Store empty-handed.
