LEGO Shop@Home Brick Friday Deals Are Now Up!

Brick Friday is officially on! The long wait seems to be forever but thankfully, shop.LEGO.com has finally revealed its sets that are now currently on sale with awesome discounts. Though there have been previous reports of certain sets that will be listed in today’s Brick Friday sales until Cyber Monday, it was only moments ago that LEGO’s online store has now listed these and made it official.

On top of this, LEGO sweetens the deal with exclusive freebies such as the seasonal Snowglobe (40223) for qualifying LEGO purchases of $99, a limited edition 2017 LEGO Coloring Calendar, and literally free shipping for all online orders. Check out these bricktastic deals that will run only today until Cyber Monday or while supplies last. Same as before, we are offering you the option of checking other Black Friday retailer deals such as those from Amazon and Toys R Us in case you want to take a look. Prices and item availability are valid at the time of this writing and while supplies last. Generally speaking, Amazon seems to offer the best deals while TRU also offers free shipping for qualified purchases. However, if you’re eyeing on the exclusive collectibles that were mentioned above, then the LEGO Store is the only place to be.

Here’s the Best LEGO Deals at Amazon Ahead of Black Friday – More than 30% Off On Selected Sets!

Unless you’re living like a hermit deep inside a cave or something, then it’s hard not to notice all the scurrying going on brought about by Black Friday. Though it may not have officially kicked in, some online retailers – such as Amazon – have already begun their deals as early as the start of this week. A few days back, we have posted information on a few LEGO sets that are rumored to be on LEGO’s Brick Friday list. Though we understand that LEGO doesn’t usually post this info earlier ahead of Brick Friday (LEGO wishes to somehow level the playing field), it is fun and perhaps helpful to speculate what sets will make it to the list. Last year, we saw a total of 45 sets offered for as much as 40% discount, with most of them offered at 30% off on the average. Similar to 2015’s LEGO promotional of the Gingerbread House (40139), fans can expect another seasonal set for this year as a free give-away for every single receipt purchase of $99 and above. The Snowglobe (40223) may be availed only from November 25 to 28 or until supplies last so expect some stiff competition to get this one.

While waiting for this year’s insiders’ list to appear again, we took the liberty of selecting the best LEGO deals that we found over at Amazon. Though this may seem to be unnecessary given the prominence and obvious advantages of most Black Friday deals, it should be noted however, that Amazon usually gives pieces of clues on what these items are. Like cookie crumbs scattered on a pathway, Amazon somehow ‘teases’ about these ahead of Brick Friday’s holiday shopping spree. If our theory is somehow correct, then these LEGO sets that we extracted from Amazon may likewise be included on LEGO’s Brick Friday list. This is just speculation though, but given that most customers have patiently waited for these promos, and that Amazon have already lowered the prices of certain LEGO sets – as much as 30% and more to be exact – then we are pretty sure that it is not far-fetched to consider that the online retail giant will either retain their prices or lower it further.

So with that of the way, here are some LEGO sets that you may find appealing, especially that they are listed for as much 30% off. Just click on the links below to bring you over at the Amazon page of that particular set or you may also check with shop.LEGO.com and compare their prizes.

To sweeten the deal, LEGO is giving away the exclusive, limited-edition Snowglobe (40223) for every qualifying purchase of $99 and more both in-store and online.  We’ll be happy to receive your feedback just in case you have any Brick Friday info to share.

Europe’s Largest LEGO Store Is Now Open!

Just a few moments ago, London’s first, and Europe’s largest LEGO brand store has finally opened its doors to the LEGO faithful. Though this piece of news is thousands of miles away from where we are, the excitement of the occasion is pretty contagious. For those of us who can’t make it physically at the LEGO London Store, we are thankful that groups such as the LEGO Collectors Club (LCC), The Brothers Brick (TBB) and Promo Bricks  are there to witness firsthand the events as they happen, giving us an inside look at what the largest LEGO store in this side of the world has to offer. In case you missed it, LEGO also had a live broadcast of the events both inside and outside of the store via their Facebook live feed.

Visitors were also glad to know that one of the latest LEGO Architecture Skylines sets slated for 2017 has been released in the LEGO London store ahead of January next year. Well, I guess it’s kind of obvious what set this is.

Other than the exclusive launch of the LEGO Architecture London 21034 at the LEGO London Store, the much talked about Lester minifigure has also been given away in a form of a raffle. Though not without complaints and issues with regards to the way it is made available (through a mystery scratch card that buyers will receive upon reaching a certain amount of purchase), there’s only a total of 275 minifigures of Lester that were officially given away so expect that this highly valued collectible minifig will be a prized possession for any LEGO fan.

17 November 2016: Today The LEGO Group, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of play materials, has officially opened its new UK flagship store in central London’s popular tourist hot-spot, Leicester Square.

The Leicester Square store is the 131st LEGO store globally and is pushing the boundaries with many unique LEGO® firsts. The largest LEGO store in the world boasts exciting new experiences, such as a ‘Mosaic Maker’ which offers LEGO fans of all ages the opportunity to purchase their very own, one of a kind, personalised LEGO mosaic portrait. The machine captures your image and in under ten minutes printed instructions and the bricks required to complete the LEGO portrait are supplied to the customer. The London store is the first in the world to make this unique experience available.

John Goodwin, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the LEGO Group said: “We are excited to have finally opened the doors to the world’s largest LEGO store here in London. We want to inspire and develop children through creative play experiences – and this store is all about that. Here, parents and children can explore the many different LEGO products while at the same time getting a truly immersive experience of the LEGO brand.”

Inspiring creativity and developing the builders of tomorrow is a central theme for the store and this is encouraged with unique hands-on interactive brick experiences. These include ‘Master Builder Playtables’, where children will be free to build whatever they can imagine – inspired by iconic London landmarks and a range of exciting LEGO themes. There will also be a timetable when Certified LEGO Master Builders will visit the store sharing tips and tricks to help visitors build LEGO models and help inspire children to think outside the box when building their creations.

The tube is the largest LEGO build in the store, is made up of 637,903 bricks and took 3,399 hours to build. The carriage offers fun photo opportunities and will be a must see for all the family.

Here’s Some 2016 LEGO Brick Friday/Cyber Monday Teasers Worth Mentioning.

November 25 to 28 marks another LEGO store sale where fans can get as much as 20% off on a variety of selected LEGO sets. Dubbed as Brick Friday and Cyber Monday, this sales event is a great way to own that LEGO set that you’ve been eyeing on for quite some time at discounted prices. For this year, LEGO has teased about this event via its European shop.LEGO.com site though it does not say much about the sets that will be offered.

02_bfcm-teaser-201611-em-landing-background-medium

However, we may have some clues on what sets will be included in the list of the online offers courtesy of Hoth Bricks. According to what they picked up, these are the sets that are confirmed to be included in the list. Take note that it’s possible that the entire list will not be revealed until the 25th of November. For those who are yet to cross out the LEGO Nexo Knights Jestro’s Volcano Lair (70323) or the LEGO Creator Volkswagen T1 Camper Van (10220) from their wishlist, then this is the best time to do so.

On top of this, it is great to know that November 25 also marks the start of another LEGO exclusive that entitles buyers to a FREE, limited edition, LEGO Snowglobe (40223). The free exclusive will be given away for a minimum purchase of $99 and above of any LEGO products via in-stores or online. The price point may be somehow higher than the usual, but since it is part of the Brick Friday/Cyber Monday deals, then it is definitely worth it.

Be sure to stay tuned here in the Brick Show for the most recent updates on this upcoming store event, and for the complete list of all LEGO sets that will be on sale during this period.

LEGO NINJAGO Stone Armour Cole (5004393) Now Available at Toys R Us!

For those of you who are fans of NINJAGO and/or are fond of collecting polybags, you seem to be in luck due to these most recent reports.

Allegedly, the Stone Armour Cole set (5004393) is now available at Toys R Us, reportedly from the price of $7.99, with Canadian stores apparently giving the item away with $25+ purchases. This information comes according to The Brick Fan, who originally recieves this information from a reader.

As such, this is not 100% confirmed and could simply be an isolated incident (there’s been countless times that individual stores don’t follow nationwide promotions), but if this is a figure that interests you I’d imagine it’s still worth a look next chance you get.

LEGO’s online store has recently rolled out its next sets slated for retirement anytime soon. All regional sites of shop.LEGO.com, except that of North America as of this writing, have already updated their listing, and have tagged a handful of impressive sets that are retiring soon, including our personal favorite, Wall-E .

Though the US and Canada regional sites have not listed these sets yet, we can be pretty sure that they will be updated soon. Frankly, LEGO does not readily announce when a set will exactly be retired. We can only have a hint of its impending retirement once it is tagged as ‘Retiring Soon’. If that happens then we can only hope for LEGO to either come up with a sort of a rehash similar to what they did with the LEGO Star Wars Death Star 75159, or click your way through various exorbitant eBay offers. Alternatively, Amazon also offers these sets for sale for good measure – plus at great discounted prices. You may want to check out these links as well.

LEGO December Store Calendar Now Up – New LEGO Disney Moana Set Revealed!

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js

There is something special with LEGO’s December Store Calendar. Before we hit theaters on November 23 to watch Disney’s latest Polynesian princess and her demigod companion, LEGO was kind enough to give us a glimpse on its latest set dedicated to the adventurous spirit of Moana. Tagged as LEGO Disney Moana on the High Seas (41150), the set features a mini-doll version of Moana, Maui in his big-fig form, Moana’s pet chicken HeiHei, and a raft.

It’s interesting to note that Brickset has updated its database to include another LEGO Disney Moana Set named as Moana’s Island Adventure (41149). We can only surmise that since it is tagged as a ‘house’ this may probably refer to Moana’s island home village where we can see some of her relatives like Gramma Tala, and her parents Tui and Sina. I hope that LEGO has more sets slated for Disney’s Moana since the film itself has plenty of interesting scenes that  will be pretty cool rendered in LEGO bricks – imagine a band  of crazy, coconut-armored Kakamora in their colorful minifig versions aboard their pirate ship. Well, we can always hope.

Here’s the December LEGO Store Calendar, followed by a breakdown of all its key highlights. Click on the images for a closer look.

Other than the LEGO Disney Moana on the High Seas (41150), the LEGO December Store calendar has also officially included the latest LEGO Batman Movie Batcave Break-In set (70909) and the DC Superhero Girls Superhero High School (41232). This could mean that we might see more reveals anytime soon or before the year ends.

So what do you think of LEGO’s rendition of Moana and her high sea adventure? What do you think is best part of LEGO’s December Store Calendar? Tell us what you think in the comments below.

Try To Build Your Own LEGO Nexo Knight Monster Using This Guide!

A couple of days ago, BlackFridayads.net has shared the entire Toys R Us Toy Book for 2016, and if you take a second look at their LEGO Nexo Knight page, you’ll notice their next in-store promotional slated for November 12 at all TRU stores nationwide. Children ages 6 and up may build and take home an exclusive LEGO Nexo Knight monster for FREE. The caveat though, is that it is only available from 12 to 2PM or while supplies last. Nevertheless, it’s a fun way to earn your free LEGO. Though November 12 is still a few weeks away before we can relish on this free exclusive, you may want to give it a try and see if you can build one of your own.

Thanks to German LEGO fan site Promobricks, we now have a copy of the building instructions for the LEGO Nexo Knight Monster. It seems that TRU stores in Germany had an early run of this promotional. Promobricks gives us an idea not just how this LEGO TRU exclusive may look like, but also its decent looking building instructions.

It’s nice to see how TRU took the extra mile of publishing the instructions following a booklet format, rather than the usual single page spread that comes with other LEGO promotionals. Coming in at 58 pieces, the LEGO Nexo Knight Monster looks like Burnzie’s smaller, brick-built cousin. Here’s how the build looks like courtesy of Promobricks.

I personally like the black and red color scheme on this one and the clever rendition of its mean-looking hammer. If you find this freebie worth the catch, be sure to mark November12 on your calendars and don’t forget to pay a visit at your local TRU store from 12PM to 2PM. What do you think of this promotional? Here’s a Cool LEGO Shopping Bag Concept That You May Want To Support.

For most of us, we’ve always associated LEGO with creativity and out-of-the-box thinking, and a few days ago I stumbled upon the simple, creative genius of Junho Lee and Hyun Chul Choi, visual art students from the School of Visual Arts of New York. I’m quite sure that their fun and simple idea will never fail to turn heads for a second look. The simple attachments of minifig-like hands on the sides of a LEGO shopping bag create an illusion of minifigure walking among us. You just grab on to handles that are attached inside the bag, wear a long-sleeved shirt or a jacket for maximum effect and flaunt your LEGO shopping around. It is a good way of adding humor in promoting the LEGO brand.

It is still in its initial project stages and we hope that this concept will eventually take flight in all LEGO Stores. Visit Junho Lee’s website for their LEGO PlayBox concept for more details, and be on the lookout for any possible minifigure posing as a LEGO customer in the not-so-distant future.
