Longtime players of role-playing games on the PC platform would be highly familiar with one particular series of that genre, created by Interplay Entertainment which has since spawned plenty of sequels and spinoffs: Fallout. An AFOL on YouTube has expressed his love for the franchise with an awesome “wearable” MOC. What kind of stuff from the Fallout games can be replicated in LEGO? There are some sensible possibilities but YouTuber LEGOParadise decided to really impress by assembling a custom LEGO Fallout 76 Pip-Boy 2000, that neat wrist-worn portable computer that’s been a staple of the series from game 1. Specifically, this is the Pip-Boy 2000 MK VI variant seen from the 2018 spinoff title Fallout ’76.

LEGOParadise managed to get all the details down when he put together LEGO elements to form the Pip-Boy computer housing and side-gadgets (Geiger counter and radio). To serve as the Pip-Boy main monitor, he put in an iPhone in the main casing, with the Fallout player menu displayed on-screen.

That’s some awesome hardcore fandom at work when LEGOParadise designed and built his custom LEGO Fallout 76 Pip-Boy 2000. Fans of Fallout just have to commend his attention to details. About the only possible shortcoming of this build is that it’s not apocalypse-proof or sturdy as the “actual” thing.
