This 368-piece promotional gift features a cute brick bunny inside a basket full of flowers. Personally, I believe this is one of the best LEGO Seasonal sets out there in terms of aesthetics.
There’s no word yet on when this promo item will be offered and at what price point. However, fellow LEGO fan site Hoth Bricks speculate that it may be offered sometime between March 16 to April 9 just in time for this year’s LEGO Easter festivities.
In the meantime, check out the following product description and official images of the LEGO Easter Basket (40587).

In case you tuned in to LEGO’s live stream of its upcoming LEGO Super Mario sets yesterday, then you’ll be glad to know that aside from a new expansion set, fans of Nintendo’s iconic gorilla will also have his very first official LEGO set in the form of an upcoming LEGO Super Mario Donkey Kong set!
LEGO Super Mario Donkey Kong Revealed!
The reveal was made by host Jack Gardner over at LEGO’s YouTube channel. You can catch a sneak peek of this exciting new set below.
Not so much was mentioned with this set, save from the title card that reads LEGO Super Mario Donkey Kong. But from the looks of it, it seems that this first brick rendition of DK will unlock new features from the Mario, Luigi, and Peach starter packs. It looks like this feature will be activated once these starter packs are mounted or joined together with LEGO Super Mario Donkey Kong. It’s quite unsure yet if LEGO’s Donkey Kong will be part of a larger expansion set, or will be a stand-alone one. We just have to wait and see in the coming months.
From the get-go, this build is not very much different in terms of height as compared to the LEGO Mario figure. The printed tile for his eyes is also spot-on, accurately catching the looks of Nintendo’s legendary gorilla. I would also like to commend the designers here for their decision to actually provide molded hands for DK.
Hopefully will get to see more details about this in the next few weeks. And with more LEGO Super Mario sets to be unveiled in the coming days, I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for actual Mario and Luigi minifigures. It’s certainly a possibility especially now that promotions for Illumination’s The Super Mario Bros. Movie are now in full swing. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release starting April 5, 2023.
MAR10 Day is now in full swing! And following a slight slip-up from LEGO’s Australian online store, we now have a full reveal of the super exciting LEGO Dry Bowser Castle Battle Expansion Set (71423)!
The LEGO Dry Bowser Castle Battle Expansion Set in all its Glory!
As part of this year’s grandest Super Mario Day celebrations, LEGO live-streamed its official set reveals, with LEGO.com following soon with a product listing. the LEGO Dry Bowser Castle Battle Expansion Set (71423) clocks in at 1,321 pieces and will retail for $110 once it is made available on August 1st, 2023.
Like other expansion sets, you will need to have sets 71360 (Mario), 71387 (Luigi), or 71403 (Princess Peach) to fully immerse in the set’s interactive features. The highlight of this new LEGO Dry Bowser Castle Battle Expansion set is of course the brick-built version of the menacing Dry Bowser. It is also jam-packed with thrilling features that will take your playtime to the next level. It has a castle entrance shaped like Bowser’s jaw and it opens up to reveal the inner workings of his fortress. And with the included crane, you can rescue a Purple Toad from the trap and topple Dry Bowser at the same time.
The course also comes with flippers that you can use to defeat the Bone Piranha Plant and Bone Goomba. And if that’s not enough, there’s a Magmaargh attack function, gym, secret entrance, secret strategy room, and a couple of new Key and Treasure Chest Blocks.

In case you missed it, LEGO.com has been updated to include three new LEGO BrickHeadz Minecraft sets that you can add to your collection. Following the release of the new LEGO BrickHeadz Disney sets this March, it looks like fans of the BrickHeadz theme have more sets to expect this April.
This wave of new LEGO BrickHeadz Minecraft sets is quite overdue in my opinion. The last similar set that we have was way back in 2018 when we had our Steve and Creeper (41612) dual-pack. So it’s a very much welcomed decision from LEGO to now include not one, but three additional Minecraft characters added to the BrickHeadz roster.
It’s also nice to see that we finally have a brick-built version of Alex to complement our early version of Steve, plus a very colorful Llama as well. LEGO also seems to give this Minecraft Llama a very distinguished place in the collection considering that this is the 200th character given the BrickHeadz treatment. I do hope that these new LEGO BrickHeadz Minecraft sets come with a special commemorative brick or something.
Check out the official images of these new LEGO BrickHeadz Minecraft sets, together with their respective product descriptions. Each of these will retail for $10 and will be available in all LEGO Stores and online starting April 1, 2023.
Here’s a hands-on treat for players of the Minecraft® video game aged 10 and up. LEGO® BrickHeadz™ Alex (40624) presents one of the game’s most popular characters in collectible BrickHeadz form. Perfect for play and display, the figure includes authentic Minecraft details, such as the hero’s diamond pickaxe. Standing over 3 in. (8 cm) tall, this new LEGO BrickHeadz Minecraft of the iconic character will look great in any kid’s room.
Minecraft® players will be very familiar with the game’s cute llama mobs. LEGO® BrickHeadz™ Llama (40625) lets kids put the popular character on display for all to admire. The buildable BrickHeadz figure stands over 3 in. (8 cm) tall and includes a baseplate stand, making it perfect for hands-on play and putting on show in any kid’s room.
Zombies are the iconic hostile mobs from the Minecraft® video game. And now, Minecraft players aged 10 and up can build their own LEGO® BrickHeadz™ Zombie (40626). The authentically detailed figure stands over 3 in. (8 cm) tall and features a baseplate stand, making it perfect for hands-on play as well as putting on show for all to admire.
Following the unintended reveal of the LEGO Super Mario Dry Bowser Castle Battle (71423), it looks like LEGO is continuously building on the hype and excitement. Because as it turns out, it seems that LEGO is teasing a LEGO Donkey Kong reveal just in time for Nintendo’s MAR10 Day celebrations.
Shared by LEGO’s social media team via Instagram, LEGO is hinting that we might be seeing our very first LEGO Donkey Kong set just in time for MAR10 Day. Take a look.
Along with a countdown timer, the imposing silhouette DK’s brick-built figure adds to the excitement of the MAR10 celebrations. Though I am excited about this first-ever LEGO Donkey Kong set, I have to say right off the bat that this may not be the usual LEGO 18+ set that adult LEGO collectors are looking forward to. There were confirmations already that there will be no LEGO 18+ sets to be revealed in conjunction with this year’s MAR10 Day celebrations. Furthermore, this brick-built rendition of Nintendo’s iconic video game character is a bit small given the LEGO elements and pieces that were used.
Whatever the case, as an avid Super Mario fan, I’m still excited to see what LEGO has in store for MAR10 Day. It’s just a matter of hours before the show begins over at LEGO’s official YouTube channel, so be sure to keep tabs on this and here on our blog site as well.
Last week, Nintendo’s social media team was quite busy promoting this year’s grandest Super Mario celebration. Included in the announcement is a brief mention of yet another collaboration with LEGO. And this time around, we now have a visual confirmation of what this first collaboration is in the likes of the just recently revealed LEGO Super Mario Dry Bowser Castle Battle (71423)
Here’s a Look at the LEGO Dry Bowser Castle Battle 71423 Set
Coming in at 1,321 pieces this LEGO Dry Bowser Castle Battle set is expected to retail for $100 once it arrives in LEGO stores this month. Though it is a sizeable set as shared by Dylan Chowover Instagram, this is still not considered an 18+ set. Just a couple of days ago, The Brick Fan mentioned that this upcoming LEGO MAR10 celebratory set is not an 18+ or D2C set which usually appeals to adult LEGO fans in a similar vein to that of The Mighty Bowser (71411) from last year, the Super Mario 64 Question Mark Block (71395) from 2021, or the Nintendo Entertainment System (71374) from 2020.
Based on what we see from Dylan’s post, the Dry Bowser Castle Battle (71423), seems to be another expansion set that ties up with previous LEGO Super Mario sets in terms of functionality and course features. We even get to see a similar Purple Toad found in LEGO Super Mario Character Packs Series 5 (71410), a Bone Goomba from LEGO Super Mario Character Packs Series 2 (71386), and a new Bone Piranha Plant and Lava Blargg build as well. I also love the aesthetics of the castle’s chain while giving it the same vibe as that of Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle (71369).
The LEGO Super Mario Dry Bowser Castle Battle is expected to make its official debut any time soon once MAR10 Day celebrations are in full swing. As a final note, just2good over his YouTube channel also reports of another LEGO Super Mario that will happen alongside the reveal of the Dry Bowser Castle. It is anticipated that this will be our first LEGO Donkey Kong set and it’s exciting to see how LEGO will pull this out.
Be sure to keep in touch here on our blog site for more updates on these upcoming LEGO Super Mario sets.
Back in January, we shared a piece of news from the rumor mill that a new wave of LEGO Indiana Jones 2023 sets are to be expected during the first half of the year. Frankly, leaked images of this revived theme have proliferated online, it is only now that we get actual images of these sets coming from third-party retailers.
Dutch online store, Brickshop.nl, has recently published product listings for the highly anticipated LEGO Indiana Jones 2023 sets. Although social media has been abuzz with leaked images of the sets, it looks like we now have our first solid piece of info on what to expect from these sets.
It should be noted, however, that the LEGO Indiana Jones 2023 set images currently available may lack the clarity of official images that we are used to seeing. However, since 3rd-party retailers are listing them, it’s a matter of time before we see them up at LEGO.com.
While the product listings include several sets, there has been speculation surrounding the release date of the Temple of Doom set. It remains unclear whether the release date has been altered or if it will be available alongside other LEGO Indiana Jones 2023 sets in the coming months. What is clear though that based on these listings, these sets are expected to be released sometime in June.
There are also reports of avid fans managing to bag these LEGO Indiana Jones 2023 sets ahead of their release date. However, we still need to verify these claims. It is likely that official images and further details will be made available very soon so be sure to keep tabs with us here on our blog.
The following are also rough Google translations of the official product descriptions of these LEGO Indiana Jones 2023 sets. But even with such limitations, I guess it is clear enough to make sense of what we can expect from the set.
I’ll update this post once the official images start to roll in.

Nintendo has just announced that there are going to be a ton of awesome activities and reveals happening during the much-anticipated MAR10 day. I can’t help but speculate what LEGO has up its sleeves. Could it be LEGO sets for the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie? Or perhaps more expansion sets for the current LEGO Super Mario theme? Rumor has it that it is a larger LEGO Super Mario set that will be released later this year. As of now, the current title of being the largest LEGO Super Mario set is from last year’s The Mighty Bowser (71411).
Will the next LEGO Super Mario reveal be larger than the current holder which is the LEGO Super Mario The Mighty Bowser (71411)? We just have to wait and see.
Whatever it is, I’m sure it’s going to be epic. So be sure to mark your calendars for March 10, 8 am PT. And while you’re at it, why not bookmark our blog site as well? Stay tuned!
