More LEGO Star Wars 2018 Reveals

While most of the LEGO Star Wars faithful has now fixed their gaze on the grandest reveal that LEGO has slated this Force Friday II, it seems that we can expect more LEGO Star Wars 2018 sets to be unveiled towards the end of the year and even until the first quarter.

Our brick intel (courtesy once more of RebelScum) suggests that we’ll be seeing more battle packs, a new wave of microfighters, and another Ultimate Collectors Series in the works. Here’s a breakdown of what we know regarding their set numbers, titles, and brief descriptions whenever they’re available. If you’re looking for watermarked images, I trust that you’ll know your way around. Some of these names are not final and may be changed anytime at LEGO’s discretion.

Sets and Minifigures

Tatooine Battle Pack (75198)

Features a small tracked utility sled. Minifigures include two Jawas, a Tusken Raider and a blue-topped astromech apparently suspended on the utility sled.

Jedi and Clone Troopers Battle Pack (75206)

Includes a mini version of the Republic Dropship with two Clone Troopers, Coleman Trebor and Ki-Adi-Mundi minifigures.

General Grievous’s Combat Speeder (75199)

Coming straight from the Clone Wars, this set includes a repulsorcraft with a pair of spring-loaded shooters and a movable column that serves as a steering mechanism as well. Minifigures include Mace Windu and General Grievous.

Yoda’s Hut (75208)

The set consists of the iconic retirement home of Yoda at the planet of Dagobah. It consists of a brick-built hut with some plant and foliage elements. Included are the minifigures of Yoda, Luke Skywalker and R2-D2. Yoda may also be placed on Luke’s back via another minifig accessory to recreate the latter’s Jedi training as seen in the Empire Strikes Back.

There’s also a next wave of The Last Jedi sets placed in four generic grey boxes all numbered 75197, 75200, 75201 and 75202 respectively. Rumor has it that one of these sets will include Rey’s training in planet Ahch-To, which means we’ll get to see the highly sought after Old Man Luke in his minifigure form.

Buildable Figures

Boba Fett (75533)
Darth Vader (75534) – with removable helmet
Darth Maul (75537)

Other than Darth Vader who already has a buildable figure of his own in 2015’s LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader (75111), it is a first for Boba Fett and Darth Maul to have ultrabuilds of their own. There are two more buildable figures (75535 and 75536) whose boxes have been blacked out, but our info suggests that these may be tied up with the Han Solo anthology, similar to what LEGO did when it introduced several Rogue One characters in their buildable figure versions.

As a last note, there are also rumors that may suggest that another LEGO Star Wars UCS is currently in the works, with all the signs pointing on what could be a remake of 2004’s Y-Wing Attack Starfighter (10134). If this is the case, then we can certainly see this UCS set probably released during the first half of 2018.

Ever Wished For A LEGO-Nintendo Team Up? Help Us Start With This LEGO Ideas Zelda: Breath of the Wild Guardian and Link Minifigure.

If you liked Tyler’s LEGO Yoshi MOC, then probably you’ll be interested to find out that this is not the first time that our resident Master Builder dived into creating a Nintendo-themed set. Last month, we were fortunate enough to have our very first LEGO Ideas submission approved for posting by the LEGO Ideas Team. If you’ve been following my posts regarding several LEGO Ideas projects, you probably know already that LEGO Ideas has revised their fan submission guidelines which state that projects based on currently active licenses and restricted IPs will no longer be accepted. As stringent as the rules may be, it did not deter our Brick Show team to still give it a shot knowing how much we love to see a LEGO and Nintendo collaboration later on in the future.

So to start our LEGO Ideas adventure, Tyler sets off to recreate one of the most recent Nintendo hits released for the Switch – The LEGO Ideas Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Guardian with Link Minifigure!

Here’s a brief description about this project, and Tyler’s take on this excellent MOC.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild Guardian and Link Minifigure

About This Project:

Now you can battle against ancient mechanical robots in LEGO form. Guardians roam the peaks and valleys of Hyrule, and it’s your job to destroy them! Using Link’s bow and arrow, take them down in this epic, original creation by Tyler Clites.

This project comes from a passion for Nintendo consisting of a lifetime worth of gaming memories, and a deep understanding that we need to make Nintendo LEGO sets happen. Seeing The Legend of Zelda come to brick form is something I’ve wanted since I was a child, and hopefully this is one step closer to that dream.

By far, Tyler’s version of this ancient mechanical robot is the closest representation of the Guardian in its LEGO brick form. I like how Tyler was able to capture those organic shapes, and other minute details of the Guardian. One example is his use of new, gold tentacle pieces which first appeared in several LEGO Elves sets. He also included several circular 1×1 plates with holes, and chain pieces to add a more golden accent into this build.

Though there are quite limited play features on this LEGO Ideas set, Tyler was able to work around this limitation by adding several flexible legs (all six of them), a head that spins around, and a spring loaded shooter. The legs are articulated using a lot of click joints, which allows this brick-built Guardian to be posed in many ways.

One fun feature that Tyler added to this LEGO Ideas Guardian is that the articulated legs can be removed from the main body, similar to how you systematically defeat these six-legged machineries in the video game. These legs can be ‘broken off’, and when the Guardian is eventually defeated, you can dismantle the entire robotic combatant and leave a rubble of ancient screws, springs, and cogs.

As a bonus, Tyler managed to come up with a customized digital version of Link to go along with the Guardian. The Link minifigure comes in his trademark blue garb, and choice of weapons. It also features a unique hairpiece, nicely detailed body straps on the torso, and double molded legs.

Yoshi Gets The LEGO Treatment In Our LEGO Nintendo Yoshi Wish Set MOC.

Talk about Nintendo and dinosaurs and there is only one thing that will immediately pop in every one’s mind – Yoshi! I have to admit, this may be a long overdue project but thankfully, Tyler also shares our same love with the most faved Nintendo dinosaur of all time. Coming in at 247 pieces, Tyler’s next wish set MOC features a fun version of Yoshi complete with an extendable tongue and the iconic green spotted egg. Watch this.

Tyler’s version of Yoshi is really spot-on. Though Tyler would personally prefer a somewhat brighter green color scheme for Yoshi, his use of nice, lime green pieces certainly makes up for that. These lime green pieces are also readily available which means we have a better chance of building one of our own LEGO Yoshi without searching for the necessary pieces far and wide.

As you can see from the video, there is a lot of articulation that goes on with our LEGO Yoshi MOC. His arms have a certain degree of mobility, while his legs, which are mounted on ball joints, are very much posable as well. It’s kind of fun to have Yoshi posed on different angles, whether standing up or sitting down.

LEGO Yoshi’s head is also movable thanks to Tyler’s use of a sturdy Technic ball joint. The mouth may also be opened or closed which, together with Yoshi’s articulated head (or neck, depending on how you look at it) allows a wide range of poses and a certain natural look typical of Yoshi’s character.

Tyler also managed to cleverly recreate Yoshi’s trademark turtle shell at the back of this build by using SNOT (Studs Not On Top) techniques. This is one of the reasons we are so impressed with Tyler’s brick-building skills considering how he comes up with solutions or alternatives for relatively hard-to-find LEGO pieces. He originally thought of using a red-colored, half-dome piece which is quite difficult to find since they only come in certain Atlantis sets. So to make up for this rare piece, Tyler managed to recreate Yoshi’s red turtle shell by substituting certain red colored cheese slopes.

Of course, one of the other things that goes well with Tyler’s Yoshi MOC is the iconic green-spotted egg and his extendable, chameleon like tongue. The egg itself is brick-built, with the same green accents that we see from the video games. An extendable tongue piece may be mounted inside Yoshi’s mouth by removing the red, circular plate which was originally placed inside. The tongue itself may also be moved up and down, striking fear into the heart of any Goomba.

This is one build that will definitely be added to our LEGO Nintendo wish list. Blast Off With Blocks Magazine Issue #35 Featuring the LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V and More of LEGO Star Wars.

Blocks Magazine Issue 35 is now available and this month, special attention is given to the highly sought after (and not to mention, elusive) LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V (21309) plus several LEGO Star Wars inspiration. In this latest issue, we get a closer look at how LEGO Star Wars designers craft their iconic sets and even get to share some building tips on how to recreate the opening scenes from Episode 6 The Return of the Jedi.

NASA Apollo Saturn V and LEGO Star Wars extravaganza in Blocks Issue 35.

It is time to blast off with Blocks Issue 35, with a special NASA Apollo Saturn V build project showing an impressive way to display the latest LEGO Ideas set.

NASA Apollo Saturn V wowed fans when the official version of the LEGO Ideas set was unveiled, so it gets the Blocks deep-dive this month. As well as exclusive launch pad, take-off and moon landing builds, Blocks chats to LEGO designer Carl Merriam about taking on the project, and of course give the set the full review treatment.

Panning the camera down to LEGO Star Wars, the designers of the range explain how they have begun to introduce more playset-based sets such as 75180 Rathtar Escape. Speaking of locations, a unique Pit of Carkoon and Sarlaac build demonstrates how you can recreate the thrilling opening to Return of the Jedi. A selection of images from expert LEGO photographer Vesa Lehtimäki show off the new UCS Snowspeeder as only he can, with the set leading a selection of LEGO Star Wars reviews and appearing on this month’s flip cover.

In Technique, a whole host of ways to harness LEGO horses are demonstrated, and as if there are not enough awesome builds crammed into this month’s Blocks, the definitive 1990s Batmobile gets a LEGO replica to celebrate 25 years of Batman: The Animated Series.

This Custom LEGO Lord of the Rings Balrog Bids You Not To Pass

Since Tyler launched his very first LEGO LOTR Prancing Pony custom set, LEGO Lord of the Ring fans have been clamoring for more similar custom LEGO LOTR wishlist sets from our master builder. This time, another iconic scene from The Fellowship of the Ring is now captured in LEGO bricks – the cliffhanging, edge-of-your-seat, tear-jerking Bridge of Khazad Dum scene, complete, with a brick-built version of the monstrous Balrog, as well as minifigures of Gandalf and Frodo Baggins, and of course the Bridge of Khazad Dum itself. This and much more are perfectly captured in this custom LEGO Lord of the Rings Balrog build.

First off (and quite obviously, the one that we want to dive in first since this is our favorite part) we have the brick-built model of the Balrog. Among the 12 sets that LEGO officially made under the Lord of the Rings theme, I certainly hope that this is the 13^th one. As of to date, we only have Balrog in his digital form in LEGO Lord of the Rings video game which was released in back 2012, so it’s kind of sad that we never got to see him as an official LEGO set. But thanks to Tyler, we can have this legendary monster built, and hopefully (fingers crossed), LEGO will take notice.

Tyler’s custom LEGO LOTR Balrog may not be at minifigure scale as seen in the video game, but given that it comes as a part of the overall Bridge of Khazad Dum custom set, it is scaled in such a way similar to how LEGO may actually design it. It is also neatly articulated using a lot of ball joints for the legs and arms. The Balrog’s wings are even mounted on ball joints as well, so it can be posed upward or downward including the skeletal parts of its wings for a more accurate and menacing look.

The headpiece of Tyler’s Balrog MOC is also an impressive build on its own. From its mean-looking horns to Tyler’s use of trans-orange pieces for the rest of its head and torso, this build captures the hellish character of this unholy beast from Moria.

But perhaps the best reason that Tyler has for this choice of pieces, which also happens to be one of the set’s best play feature, in my opinion, is his inclusion of a light brick inside the Balrog. The light brick is activated with a touch of a button that Tyler cleverly added at the back of the Balrog’s head. I can’t just put into words how nice this play feature is, especially when you turn off the light brick inside a room – the Balrog’s fiery demeanor simply stands out.

Of course last but not the least, we have the actual Bridge of Khazad Dum from the LOTR – The Fellowship of the Ring, which is also scaled down so as to look like an actual LEGO set. If you remember this scene in the film, the bridge begins with a relatively small entrance (as far as the size of the Balrog is concerned), that narrows down to a very slim and restricted pathway. On the bridge, you have Gandalf in his classic ‘you shall not pass!’ pose, while at the other end of the bridge is Frodo holding the One Ring in his minifig hand.

The bridge also comes with neat play features and movable parts, one of which being is the ‘collapsible’ archway which the Balrog knocks down as charges his way towards Gandalf, while the latter shouts his ever-famous battle cry.

Now if you still remember this part of the film, the highlight of this scene is when the Balrog advances to attack and Gandalf causes the middle portion of the bridge to collapse taking the Balrog with it. Tyler once again impressively added a play feature where this middle portion of the bridge collapses by a push of a button at the other end, sending the Balrog hurling downwards the abyss. Then we have Gandalf (when things seem to be a walk in the park) falling and barely catching on at the edge of the bridge where he hangs on and eventually falls into the chasm together with the Balrog.

This is one custom LEGO LOTR set that is simply packed with cool, and accurate play features as closely as you can see in the film. Here’s Tyler with his own thoughts on this latest addition to our LEGO LOTR wishlist.

Break the Spells of the Ocean with Tyler’s LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales Poseidon’s Trident MOC.

SPOILER ALERT: If you haven’t seen POTC Dead Men Tell No Tales yet and won’t mind any major spoilers, go ahead and watch this awesome MOC from Tyler. Just don’t be upset with him, OK? So on with the show!

If you had a blast building Tyler’s previous LEGO POTC Dead Men Tell No Tales Caribbean Bank Heist MOC, then you’ll surely love this next wish set from our ace builder extraordinaire. One of the cliffhanger (or should I say a water wall hanger) scenes from the film, is when the teams of Capt. Jack Sparrow and Capt. Armando Salazar finally discovered the whereabouts of the mysterious Trident of Poseidon. With the ocean parted before them, the battle-hardened seafarers eventually go all out in their fight to possess the Trident. Tyler recreates this scene, and comes up with a very nice set that can easily pass as an official LEGO POTC set, and even better.

This latest POTC inspired creation from Tyler comes with several play features, consisting of roughly three builds. First off, we have walls of water recreated using blue translucent or transparent plates, surrounding a middle section. It’s typical of Tyler to add some cool details on these water wall builds such as the gray pieces that seems to stick out from the surface of the walls to recreate the effects of rock-like outcroppings as you see in the film (if you saw it already, that is).

The middle section of this MOC consists of a replica of the ocean floor, with several corals and aquatic fauna, and of course the fabled Trident of Poseidon. The coral section highlights Poseidon’s Trident which, if you take it out from its base, even breaks in two to break all the spells that binds the ocean.

There are also spots in the coral section where you can put the minifigure versions of Capt. Jack Sparrow and Capt. Armando Salazar as they battle it out to take possession of the Trident.

Tyler didn’t shy away from adding several details on the water wall such as a couple of sea weed elements, barnacles using 1×1 round plates, and the rock formations on the sides where you can even place a minifigure on top of it. The right side of the water wall also highlights plenty of play features such as a transparent Technic beam that suspends an anchor holding the minifig versions of Capt. Barbossa and Carina. I guess I will not say that much about the reason why they’re up there in the first place since it’s one of the film’s major story plots.

Davy Jones Will Not Shy Away From This Mini LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean The Flying Dutchman MOC.

Ahoy there matey! Tyler is back once again with another brick creation, and this time paying tribute one of the most famous ships ever to roam the seas of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Unlike the Black Pearl, Queen Anne’s Revenge and the recent Silent Mary which received the official LEGO treatment by having their own LEGO sets dedicated to them, The Flying Dutchman is one of the well-known ships in the POTC series that didn’t make the cut of having its own LEGO set.

Thanks to another awesome MOC by Brick Show Master Builder, Tyler, we can now have the chance of building our very own Mini LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean The Flying Dutchman MOC. Following his previous Mini LEGO POTC Black Pearl MOC, Tyler now gives us Davy Jones’ famous ship in mini brick-built form.

This version of the Flying Dutchman comes with an old, sunken pirate ship look thanks to Tyler’s effective use of olive green and tan pieces. To give that old, sea-weary, barnacle infested look, Tyler added some 1×1 plates with a hole in the center at the sides of the ship. Since this is on a mini-scale, those pieces also act like cannons at the sides of the ship.

The original Flying Dutchman from the POTC movies seems to have an intimidating, gaping mouth on its bow. Using droid arms to recreate that spiky, gnarly effect, Tyler impressively recreates that effect just by using two droid arms and a hinged single 1×2 plate. For its stern, Tyler used some grilled slope pieces to create that window-like part of the ship.

However, the best part of this build is Tyler’s clever use of the curved slopes and car fender pieces to create the sails of the Flying Dutchman. If you recall, he also uses the same technique for his Mini Black Pearl MOC a few weeks back. The choice of olive green for the sails is really spot on, which mimics that ominous, sea-born feel of the original ship.

Of course, our Mini Flying Dutchman MOC will not be complete without our minifig version of the infamous captain, Davy Jones. This minifigure rendition of the tentacled captain only appears in LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean The Black Pearl (4184) so obtaining him is a bit of a challenge. However, if you want to stay true to the film, we can also swap Will Turner’s minifig since we have thrice the number of chances to obtain him in LEGO form, not just in The Black Pearl (4184), but also in The Cannibal Escape (4182) and The Mill (4183). If you remember from Pirates of the Caribbean At World’s End, Turner eventually became the new captain of The Flying Dutchman and went to become the sea’s next psychopomp (someone who offers safe passage to the souls of the dead, going to the afterlife).

New Characters To Watch Out For in LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2!

Day 3 of this year’s San Diego Comic Con was a show-stopper for LEGO and Marvel fans. During the LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2: Meet the Talent Behind the Video Game panel, the powerhouse team of Arthur Parsons (Head of Design for TT Games), Bill Rosemann (Executive Creative Director of Marvel Games), Justin Ramsden (LEGO Designer), Kurt Busiek (Comic Book Writer for Avengers Forever), and Dan Veesenmeyer (Comic Content Artist, and artist for LEGO Marvel’s Avengers) were all present to give SDCC attendees a glimpse on the additional characters that will grace the sequel to the highly popular video game, plus tons of other interesting info about the game.

According to The Brick Fan, an exclusive, never-before-seen LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 trailer was shown during the panel, and several new characters and vehicles from the Marvel comic books were introduced. Some of these new characters were the Vulture from Spider-Man: Homecoming, Doctor Octopus, Cosmo, Greenskyn Smashtroll, Throg, and Forbush Man. Also presented to the audience were previously revealed characters of Howard the Duck, Iron Duck and Gwenpool.

As it seems, our LEGO superheroes will also be capable of using their signature vehicles as seen in the comics and on the big screen. Examples of these are the Black Panther Jet, Crossbones’ Truck, and Star Lord’s Mini Ravage Jet.

What is also interesting is the fact that players can use several versions of the same comic book character during game play. For example, you can play as Spider-Man in his Homemade Suit version as seen in Spider-Man: Homecoming, while your friend plays as Spiderman Noir or Spiderman 2099. The legendary Stan Lee will also make a comeback in LMSH2, where you will have a chance to save him and, if you are successful in your mission, be rewarded along the way. The possibilities are endless, especially if you have more than 200 playable Marvel characters at your disposal. These 200+ characters are all available to players as they progress through the game, regardless of what type of console you are using. As such, WB Games and TT Games have no plans of offering any console-specific character packs which is fair for all gamers and fans of the franchise.

During the panel discussions and Q&A, Parsons also hinted at the possibility of Moon Knight making his way to LMSH2 as a playable character, and the inclusion of Mysterio going head-on against the Sinister Six. There was also some hints about the in-game mechanics (96 in all) and several abilities of some of the game’s characters. One example is Kamala Khan’s ability of shrinking down to size, and pass through different mazes.

Finally, Arthur Parsons also mentioned that a new LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 trailer will be aired likely on Monday. He reiterated this announcement via his official Twitter account.

In closing, attendees were treated with ticketed parting gifts of the foil comic print of Kang Dynasty, and the LEGO Marvel Superheroes The Avengers Quinjet (30304) polybag which was quite rare when it was introduced in 2015. An in-game, LEGOlized digital version of the Kang Dynasty comic book cover, and other similar classic covers will all be available in LMSH2 via collectable minikits.

We’ll keep an eye on the latest trailer of LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 when it hits the web on Monday. A Deluxe Edition is also available that comes with a Season Pass, the Classic GOTG Character Pack, and an exclusive Giant-Man minifigure. The game is expected to be released to the general public on November 14.

Here’s A Wrap-Up of Everything That Is “Good and Dad” About The LEGO Ninjago Movie @SDCC 2017.

We’re almost down to the final day of this year’s San Diego Comic Con, with The LEGO Ninjago Movie making waves during last Thursday’s panel presentation. Prior to that, SDCC’s Preview Night also allowed attendees the opportunity to witness the unveiling of one of TLNM’s retailer-exclusive sets, the garmadon, Garmadon, GARMADON! (70619) and a new poster to boot. The reveal of Garmadon’s intimidating metal shark was a sign of more good things to come throughout the celebrated fan convention. Here’s a round-up of everything that was revealed thus far about The LEGO Ninjago Movie, exclusive at Comic Con.

First off, we have LEGO’s third largest set put on display for the first time. Coming in at a whooping 4,867 pieces, The LEGO Ninjago City (70620) has been finally showcased to the public and attendees of SDCC. Slated to be released on September 1 just in time before The LEGO Ninjago Movie is shown in theaters, Ninjago City (70620) will retail for $299.99 and features a highly detailed, 3-level modular model of the brick-built city. Perhaps other than the star-studded cast of TLNM present during the SDCC panel, LEGO fans and attendees were particularly excited about the launch of the film’s 2^nd official trailer. In the said trailer, we’re given an inside look at Lloyd’s internal struggle of wanting to know more about his dad while foiling his plans of ruining Ninjago City. We get to see a sort of backstory on how Garmadon was prior to his marriage to Lloyd’s mom Koko. Will both father and son finally come to terms and acknowledge the strength of their familial bond? Those who attended The LEGO Ninjago Movie Panel at SDCC 2017 were surprised by a very much welcomed treat. The Brick Fan was at the heart of the action during Comic Con, and was one of attendees during The LEGO Ninjago Movie Panel. Announced a couple of days back, panel attendees were given a Green Ninja Mech Dragon (30428) polybag as a souvenir. Check out the image below courtesy of The Brick Fan.

The cast of TLNM also had a brick-building, bonding time at the LEGO Booth while having their try on the latest LEGO sets dedicated to the film. Justin Theroux and Dave Franco, who played the father-and-son duo of Garmadon and Lloyd, were caught having a blast with the LEGO Ninjago Movie sets as posted by LEGO via social media.

Lastly, IGN has also revealed the very first game play video for The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game during a live panel at SDCC. During an interview with TT Games Producer Tim Wileman and Game Director, Arthur Parsons, we had our first exclusive look at how the video game will tie-in with the film across eight (8) action-packed locations within the vast world of LEGO Ninjago. Here’s a sneak peak of how our young ninjas will fair in their digital gaming versions.

Needless to say, it has been a great Comic Con year for the LEGO Ninjago Movie, and with the film getting the same love from The LEGO Group in terms of a wide variety of sets similar to its predecessors (The LEGO Batman Movie and The LEGO Movie), we’re very much certain that we will see more of our teenage ninja heroes in the near future. The LEGO Ninjago Movie will hit theaters on September 22, 2017 and features the voices of Dave Franco (Lloyd), Justin Theroux (Garmadon), Michael Peña (Kai), Fred Armisen (Cole), Kumail Nanjiani (Jay), Abbi Jacobson (Nya), Zach Woods (Zane), Olivia Munn (Koko), and the legendary Jackie Chan (Master Wu).

LEGO Ideas Woman of NASA Slated to be Released at the End of the Year.

Hate them or love them, the next LEGO Ideas set that pays tribute to NASA’s space exploration program now has a launch date. Following the release of the highly in-demand, LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V (21309) set, we now have confirmation that the next NASA-themed set is expected to be released on December 1 of this year.

Designed by LEGO fan and space enthusiast Maia Weinstock (aka 20tauri over at LEGO Ideas), the LEGO Ideas Women of NASA is the next approved LEGO Ideas project following the NASA Apollo Saturn V (21309), and the yet to be released Old Fishing Store (21310). The reveal was made at the LEGO fan event, Japan Brickfest held last June, where members of the LEGO Community Engagement Team announced the set’s launch date during one of their presentation.

Though it was briefly said in passing, the announcement of the launch date wasn’t hard to miss. Check out the video below and pause it around the 7:34 mark.

Truth be told, many LEGO Ideas fans were not that thrilled when the announcement was made regarding the selection of the Women of NASA as the next official LEGO Ideas set. It was met with mixed reactions from the LEGO community – from those who laud LEGO for giving more emphasis on sets that inspire budding scientists regardless of their gender, to those who lament the fact that it is such a small set with very limited play features.

Whatever your take on this, we still yet to see how LEGO will tweak on its preliminary fan-made design to somehow make it more appealing to the majority of LEGO fans, young and old alike. In the meantime come by September, we still have the Old Fishing Store (21310) to watch out for which is expected to have a good amount of following.
