LEGO Postcards 2023 Sets Officially Revealed

Yep, these are not your usual postcards. LEGO.com has officially revealed as part of its 1HY 2023 offering another couple of builds that are truly Instagram-worthy – and yes, they are actually brick-built. Our next wave of LEGO Postcards 2023 sets has been revealed, with two new sets that let you bring home a slice of life from the land down under, and the grandeur of Big Ben and other famous London landmarks in mini-scale formats.

After its successful debut last year with Beijing, New York, and Paris given the LEGO Postcard treatment, LEGO has now revealed that two fine locations will be added to the roster in 2023. The reveal of the LEGO Postcard London is not really new to be exact since it was already announced back in August. However, LEGO opted to push its release date further back to be a part of its 1HY 2023 line-up. And this time around, it will be joined by another perfect mini-scale, brick-built rendition of the Australian outback.

More LEGO Marvel Mechs Arriving in 2023

Marvel character mechs are quite a staple for LEGO sets since their introduction back in 2015, and we can definitely expect more LEGO Marvel mechs to arrive in the first half of next year. LEGO.com has already listed three new sets under this genre, and it’s great to see that they just keep on getting better.

For this initial offering, we get to see The Hulk get his first-ever LEGO mechanical armor (well, it’s a kind of a stretch since I guess it’s only in LEGO fantasy land where you can see the green giant ever need one). We also get to see the Mad Titan and Rocket get their LEGO Marvel mech upgrades as well. I appreciate how these character mechs keep on improving particularly in terms of their proportional design and articulation.

This trio of new Marvel superhero sets joins the initial wave of LEGO Marvel 2023 offerings introduced last week, all of which will arrive in January next year both in-store and online, retailing for $15 each. Take a look.

In case you missed it, the entire portfolio of homegrown 2023 LEGO-themed sets such as those from LEGO City, Friends, Ninjago, and more have already been released. And to make next year more exciting, LEGO.com has also listed its upcoming line of LEGO Technic 2023 sets.

As of this posting, there’s a total of five LEGO Technic 2023 sets we can expect to be released next January. These are also some of the smaller sets within the theme – it’s nice to see that the Monster Trucks series is still around, with two new vehicles added to its roster. There are also a couple of multi-build sets with steering functionalities, plus a mid-sized racing car model.

This huge collection of new LEGO City sets includes a combination of the more recent LEGO City Stuntz subtheme, new animal elements, plus more action-packed LEGO City scenes. And of course, the usual LEGO humor is still there – the minifigure guy in the dog training suit (that doubles as a cactus costume), and the penguin costume are a must-have for me.

More LEGO Disney Sets Scheduled to Arrive in 2023

With more and more licensed themes announced for a January 2023 release, LEGO.com currently listed several LEGO Disney sets, featuring some of the most beloved Disney Princesses in their playful brick renditions.

To debut alongside other 1HY 2023 sets, these latest LEGO Disney sets also feature several Disney characters in their very first LEGO minidoll figures. These include Sina (Moana’s mom together in their Wayfinding Boat, as well as Prince Philip, included in Aurora’s Castle. If you’re into collecting LEGO Disney minidolls, then these sets should be on your brick radar as well.

7 New 2023 LEGO Minecraft Sets Officialy Revealed

LEGO Minecraft fans will surely love this next piece of news. Because in case you missed it, LEGO.com has officially revealed its line-up of new 2023 LEGO Minecraft sets, scheduled to arrive online and in-store in January next year, alongside other licensed themes to be released at the sound of the first bell of 2023.

Personally, I’m glad to see that these new seven 2023 LEGO Minecraft sets show LEGO’s effort to somewhat balance their pricing while leaving more room for playability and aesthetics. This is crucial in my opinion since Minecraft is mainly a world-building game catered to younger video game players. It’s nice to see that even more than a decade since Minecraft once introduced, LEGO is staying true to form with regard to these play features and design.
