As you may already know, LEGO fans have 18 reasons to celebrate Disney’s centennial celebrations this year. Third in the series, the LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71038 Disney 100 was officially revealed last month and is set to arrive on May 1st in celebration of the House of Mouse’s 100th anniversary. With a bumper of 18 different characters, including Pinocchio, Mulan, Baymax, Cruella de Vil, and more, this new series is expected to be a hit with LEGO fans of all ages.
However, if you’re looking to get your hands on a specific minifigure, you’ll need to be strategic. The blind-bagged nature of these collectible minifigures means that you won’t know what you’re getting until you open the package. So, what are your options for getting the characters you want?
Box Distribution for the LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71038 Disney 100
It has been confirmed already that a single box from the LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71038 packets should contain two complete sets of 18 minifigures (with 36 blind bags from each box). This means that if you buy a complete box of minifigures, you’re guaranteed to get your hands on the full batch of LEGO Disney 100th anniversary minifigures.
However, if you’re only after a few characters, you may not want to spend the money on a full box. In that case, it’s worth knowing the complete box distribution to increase your chances of finding the characters you want. Fresh boxes typically have a consistent distribution of specific characters, so if you know where your favorites are located, you’ll have a better chance of finding them.
Early reviews of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71038 Disney 100 such as those from Ashnflash and Jay’s Brick Blog have confirmed the exact box distribution for the new series of blind-bagged characters, and where to find each character based on their particular placement inside their box.

FRONT OF THE BOX
Complete Box vs. Individual Packets
Buying a complete box of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71038 isn’t the only way to get your hands on the full set of characters. You could also split the cost with a friend and divide up the two sets between you. However, if you’re only after a handful of characters, buying individual packets may be your best option.
Feeling out the Characters Maybe Your Last Option
One of the ways to get the characters is to feel your way through the individual CMF packets. While this method can be effective, it’s not foolproof. It requires a good sense of touch and can be time-consuming. Plus considering the current post-pandemic situation, feeling your way through each bag is not a safe option as well.
Knowing the box distribution layout for the LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71038 series can help improve your chances of finding your favorite characters. Keep in mind that this layout may not be 100% the same across every box, but it’s a good starting point. It can reduce the amount of time required if you’re fine with feeling each blind bag and improve your chances of finding the minifigures you want. Plus, with the rumored release of the second series of LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures in September, which is expected to switch to new cardboard packaging, knowing where each CMF is placed inside a fresh box may be the only method available to find your favorite characters.
For now, fans can look forward to adding the LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71038 Disney 100 to their collection and displaying them proudly to commemorate Disney’s 100th anniversary.
Kids aged 5+ can recreate their favorite film moments with these LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71038 Disney 100 blind bags. New for May 2023, these popular and iconic animated characters from the past century can be collected, proudly displayed or used for exciting imaginative play.
An amazing parade of film stars! Disney fans will be thrilled to revel in nostalgia and collect this fantastic array of iconic film characters: Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey, Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, The Queen, Stitch 626, Pocahontas, Cruella de Vil & Dalmatian puppy, Miguel & Dante, Ernesto de la Cruz, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Robin Hood, Prince John, Tiana, Dr. Facilier, Queen of Hearts, Mulan, Aurora and Baymax.
The perfect treat for LEGO fans! All 18 characters from the LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71038 Disney characters come in a sealed mystery bag and are accompanied by at least 1 cool accessory and a collector’s information leaflet. This is the perfect treat to inspire kids’ imaginations and give them lots of play value.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars Episode VI, LEGO took to social media to give a hint of things to come with its new LEGO Star Wars Return of the Jedi set. Return of the Jedi is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year since its first theatrical run in May 1983. To celebrate this milestone, LEGO somewhat teases the imminent reveal of its new sets inspired by the events of the iconic film.
The teaser announcement came in via its official Twitter page, highlighting a couple of photos that show children donning costumes and props, re-enacting key moments of the film. We have a photo that seems to hint at the famous speeder bike chase on the forest moon of Endor and another that shows the iconic showdown between the Emperor and Luke Skywalker in the Emperor’s throne room.
LEGO Teases Their New LEGO Star Wars Return of the Jedi Sets Over at Social Media
Interestingly, the photo on this video clip includes several LEGO parts and pieces that may hint at two new LEGO Star Wars Return of the Jedi sets that will be revealed soon. And if you look closely at the banner photo that LEGO used for its Twitter and Facebook pages, these LEGO parts and pieces were given a more prominent view.
As you may have guessed, the build on the left side of the photo, together with the large circular plate, are all parts of the Emperor’s throne room. Those on the right shows remnants of a Speeder Bike as it is surrounded by plant or foliage similar to how we can imagine in the forests of Endor.
And if you’re following the trail of LEGO Star Wars leaks recently, then there is some buzz surrounding a couple of new LEGO Star Wars Return of the Jedi sets specifically the Emperor’s Throne Room (75352) and the Endor Speed Chase (75353). Details are still scant about these sets, but according to Brickset, the former is expected to clock in at 807 pieces, while the latter is at 608 pieces. Given their size and LEGO’s marketing approach to these sets, we can somewhat glimpse that these may be intended for AFOLs especially considering that the film itself is already celebrating its 40th anniversary.
The new LEGO Star Wars Return of the Jedi sets takes their inspiration from these previous sets, but follow a diorama style that is intended to be more of a display set.
Though there are plenty of images and even reviews of these upcoming LEGO Star Wars Return of the Jedi sets out there, apparently because of another 3rd-party retailer slip-up, they are still not officially revealed by LEGO. But a quick look at these sources (if you don’t mind having a spoiler or two), shows that these new sets take their inspiration from previous ones such as the Ewok Attack (7956) from 2011 and the Death Star Final Duel (75093) from 2015. But this time, the newer iterations follow a more diorama-like format bearing the movie’s 4oth anniversary logo.
In the meantime, we have just to wait for LEGO’s official reveal of its new LEGO Star Wars Return of the Jedi sets any time soon, and hopefully, this month. Just remember to keep tabs on our blog for the latest LEGO Star Wars news and updates.

If you’re a fan of LEGO and mechs, then you may notice that LEGO mechs have been around for a long time and have always been popular among fans. But if you’re looking for the largest LEGO mech builds, then stay tuned because I’ve compiled a list of 21 of the biggest and most impressive ones you can add to your collection today. These builds range from towering titans from LEGO Monkie Kid to agile combat machines from LEGO Ninjago, each with its own unique style and design.
Tracing back the roots of these largest LEGO mech builds or sets goes way back to the time of LEGO classic themes. When LEGO launched its LEGO Space theme and introduced our very first Cybernaut (6951: Robot Command Center) made of LEGO in 1984, brick-built robots became a staple across LEGO themes and sets.
And if you’re a fan of these largest LEGO mech sets, then you have probably noticed that the past 5-7 years have seen a steady increase in the number of these largest LEGO mech builds. Simply put, there are a ton of amazing mech builds out there that you can add to your collection today.
LEGO bricks have always been associated with wonder and creativity, and the introduction of this largest LEGO mech set into the mix (as far as minifigures are concerned) has taken it to a whole new level. With the ability to create complex, articulated figures with hundreds of LEGO pieces, the possibilities are virtually endless.
And in case you’re wondering where we are right now in terms of LEGO mechs, you may also notice that the majority of these official LEGO mech sets are coming from homegrown themes such as LEGO Ninjago and LEGO Monkie Kid, and licensed ones such as LEGO Marvel Superheroes.
As a rule of thumb, I only considered those sets with more than a 700-piece count in this listing of the largest LEGO mech builds around. Most of these are still available at LEGO.com and Amazon, so if you’re interested to add them to your LEGO mech collection, then you may also click on their respective affiliate links below.
With that out of the way, let’s dive in and check this list of the largest LEGO mech sets out there.

It looks like LEGO is backing off from its planned reveal of the LEGO Indiana Jones The Temple of Doom. Read on to know more.
Earlier today, LEGO fans all over were buzzing with excitement as the highly anticipated LEGO Indiana Jones 2023 sets were finally revealed. Despite a few leaks from the rumor mill since 2022, fans were thrilled to finally get an official reveal of what the sets would entail.
Why is the LEGO Indiana Jones The Temple of Doom No Longer Releasing?
However, eagle-eyed enthusiasts quickly noticed that one anticipated set that was announced was conspicuously missing from this lineup. Unfortunately, it seems that the LEGO Indiana Jones The Temple of Doom (77014) will not be making its debut eventually.
Is the LEGO Indiana Jones The Temple of Doom (77014) set canceled eventually? Image courtesy of Brickset.
A Look Back at the History of LEGO Indiana Jones Sets
As you may recall, a previous version of LEGO Indiana Jones The Temple of Doom was offered by LEGO back in 2009 with set 7199. And since early leaks of a remake of this set have circulated already, fans were already expecting that four LEGO Indiana Jones should be in order.
In fact, images and box art of the modern LEGO Indiana Jones The Temple of Doom set have also been shared online months prior to the theme’s official comeback. So it’s understandable, to say the least, that such an absence of the set in question left most LEGO fans a bit perplexed.
LEGO’s Official Statement
LEGO has yet to make an official statement about the absence of the LEGO Indiana Jones The Temple of Doom’s absence, but a word from the LEGO Ambassador Network (LAN) may give us a hint about the future of this set.
Throughout 2022, the LEGO Group worked closely with Lucasfilm to optimize our planned product line up for the upcoming LEGO Indiana Jones product launches in April 2023. As an outcome of this, we consolidated the launch to focus on three products (77012, 77013, 77015 ) that feature some of the most iconic scenes from the Indiana Jones franchise. We hope our fans love the new range and can’t wait to get their hands on them.
Well as always, LEGO is neither denying nor confirming anything about the future of the LEGO Indiana Jones The Temple of Doom (77014) set in this statement. But reading between the lines, it’s quite apparent that LEGO purposively left out this set and will most likely not launch this product anytime soon.
From a corporate perspective, I understand LEGO’s seemingly apprehensive stance about the release of this controversial set. Well, it’s not that the set itself is controversial, but the film or scene from the film that it recreates.
Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom was released in 1984, back in those days when racial stereotypes abounded in Hollywood films. That scene in particular when one of the film’s antagonists, Mola Ram, is included and eventually made its way as an official minifigure in 2009, is something that the LEGO Group may be weary about.
Not only because of the gruesome ritualistic sacrifices that this character in the film did (like tearing away a beating heart from a live human sacrifice) but also the potential harm that culturally inaccurate portrayals may do to people of color and other communities.
The first LEGO Indiana Jones The Temple of Doom (7199) set was released in 2009.
These set cancellations are not really new as far as the LEGO group is concerned. There were numerous occasions in the past when LEGO needed to cancel a set that was eventually slated to be officially revealed. But in case you’re curious about what the LEGO Indiana Jones The Temple of Doom (77014) has to offer, what we do know is that it comes with 6 minifigures including the characters of Short Round, Willie Scott, Indy, Mola Ram, and two Temple Guards. It is also expected to retail between $85-$90 and clocks in at 801 pieces.
As I’ve mentioned, the LEGO Group itself has not released any official statement regarding this missing (or perhaps, canceled) set. It is also understandable if LEGO will eventually forego the idea of offering this re-release all throughout as it doesn’t align with their values. And also as a way of avoiding further criticism as well. We just have to wait and see in the following weeks.
After an early look was provided by other LEGO retailers, LEGO.com has finally listed and unveiled the three new LEGO Indiana Jones 2023 sets to celebrate the return of cinema’s most iconic adventurer. Fans can now get their hands on these thrilling new sets and embark on their own LEGO Indiana Jones adventures, as they recreate some of the most unforgettable moments from the beloved film series.
