It’s finally here! The LEGO Ideas TRON: Legacy (21314) set is now available both in-store and online. This next LEGO Ideas set is based on Disney’s sequel to the original TRON movie released in 1982. This LEGO Ideas set comes in 230 pieces and retails for $34.99. If you’re planning to get one for you and a friend, I suggest that you make purchase in a LEGO store nearest you, since LEGO Shop@Home only limits one set per purchase which is quite a damper considering that they usually allow up to 2 purchases per set. If you’re eyeing on this set and you have this ticked out as a Day 1 purchase, be sure to do your purchase today if you wish to grab hold of the LEGO Seasonal Iconic Easter (5005249) minifigure set. Today marks the last day of this LEGO store promotional, and as far as LEGO Shop@Home is concerned, the Iconic Easter minifigure still appears in my online shopping bag which is a good thing, suggesting that the minifigure is still available.
A view days ago, it came to our attention that LEGOLAND Billund is running a new promotional that coincides with the theme park’s 50th anniversary. So what better way to celebrate it than with the newest, coolest Banana Guy in town. Promo Bricks first spotted this latest LEGO seasonal collectible minifigure set via LEGOLAND’s promotional add, with the promise of a much closer look later on.
True to their word, Michael of Promo Bricks made a very comprehensive review of the LEGO Seasonal Banana Guy (5005250) set. I like how this newest iteration of one of LEGO’s most popular costumed minifig turned out, particularly the minifig’s tropical themed shirt, green pants, and flip flops. The legs are dual molded, while the torso has front and back prints which turned out nice. It comes with a single sided head print. The orange boom box accessory is also a nice addition to the set, giving this new minifig a more hip and chill out look. The box art itself further adds to that tropical feel with its festive juice bar display.

It looks like LEGO is further banking its bricks with Disney Pixar’s most anticipated sequel to date. With several Juniors sets and a video game added to its roster, it seems we have another tie-in set to expect next month, and this time coming from the BrickHeadz line. Brickset shared our very first box art image of the LEGO Incredibles 2 BrickHeadz (41613) featuring the Parr family head, Mr. Incredible, and his all too cool sidekick Frozone.
According to a Brickset tipster, this set was spotted in a LEGOLAND Discovery Center where it is now made available for retail. The dual pack BrickHeadz set comes in at 160 pieces and retails for $20 very much the same as that of other two-pack sets. Other than the image above, eBay seller littledanish0714 is back with another listing that features the two-pack LEGO BrickHeadz. I have to say that Frozone really looks cool (okay, enough with the puns) on his LEGO BrickHeadz version. I like how the white and pastel blue colors turned out on him, including the visor that accentuates Frozone’s mask. Mr. Incredible, on the other hand, features the prominent Incredibles logo printed on a 1×4 tile. The LEGO Incredibles 2 BrickHeadz (41613) set is expected to be available at all LEGO Stores and other retailers this April.
The month of April is almost upon us, and that means another much awaited LEGO gift with purchase (GWP) set is almost within reach. Following the steps of the 60 Years of the LEGO Brick (40290) Commemorative Set, we now have another anniversary set which now focuses on the 40th year anniversary of the iconic LEGO minifigure. First revealed in April’s LEGO Store Calendar, the LEGO Minifigure Factory (5005358) Promotional Set underscores the careful, meticulous but fun way a LEGO minifigure comes to be. Now that we have these crisp, clear images, we can have a better look at what I believe is the highlight of this free set: the unique nanofigures. I’m not a particular LEGO nanofigure fan, but I have to say the level of detail shown in such a small scale is very, very impressive.
As you can see from the image above, we can expect a bunch of nanofigs from this free set, showcasing some of LEGO’s most classic themes: a Policeman, Pirate, Space Man, Nurse, and LEGO Ninjago’s female android P.I.X.A.L. Needless to say, I’m glad LEGO threw in these little guys. Of course, we also have the LEGO Designer minifigure which is pretty nice in itself with the LEGO logo emblazoned at the back of its yellow torso.
Similar to previous promotional items, the LEGO Minifigure Factory make use of its cardboard packaging as part of the set’s display. Though I would prefer an actual build for the factory, this 86-piece freebie is not something that I will gripe about. All in all, I’m sure that this next LEGO GWP is not something that collectors will casually pass. The LEGO Minifigure Factory (5005358) is slated to be available from April 1 to 15 and comes free for every single receipt purchase of any LEGO items $75 and more.
I wouldn’t consider this next piece of news as coming exactly from the proverbial leaking faucet of upcoming LEGO sets, but a welcomed one nonetheless. Apparently, an eager beaver store employee somewhere in Poland is a bit too excited to put this LEGO Star Wars on display. It’s that, or he or she is probably clueless of what the set significantly means to LEGO Star Wars fans, and eventually placed it on display. From what I heard from other sites, the set was eventually removed from the shelf of the said LEGO Store. Well, someone has to do some PR damage control for that matter.
If you recall from August of last year, we mentioned a rumor that this year’s LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series will be another remake of previous UCS sets, one that is particularly from 2004. Now the recent store slip-up finally sealed all of these rumors, for it ‘semi-officially’ revealed that the next LEGO Star Wars UCS set will be the Y-Wing Starfighter (75181). These images, courtesy of RebelScum, give us a solid proof of this upcoming set.
Now I have to state the obvious that this is not yet an official reveal, and is just a slip-up since the Y-Wing Starfighter (75181) was prematurely placed on a LEGO Store shelf (albeit accidentally), so I guess showing this pre-empted reveal is still fair game. It should also be pointed out that since the set is already physically available in the store’s inventory, it is just a matter of time before the set is officially announced and displayed. I will not comment much about the set and its differences with the first Y-Wing released in 2004 since I would rather see the official images and descriptions once they are made available by LEGO. For now, my best guess is that we might get an official announcement on this new UCS sometime next week, with a release date slated on May as part of LEGO’s May the Fourth offerings.

By now LEGO fans and video-gamers are well aware of the recently-announced LEGO Incredibles title, soon to be available on PC, Microsoft Xbox, Sony PS4 and the Nintendo Switch. The latest news has been the inclusion of an exclusive Edna Mode minifigure for apparently every copy of the game title.
While there’s still some discussion on whether the Edna Mode minifigure will be an exclusive in terms of the game store or the copy of LEGO Incredibles itself, we at least now have a clear image of the polybag which Edna Mode will be packaged in, with an extra surprise.
The photo of the LEGO Incredibles 2 Edna polybag (numbered 30615) was discovered in eBay, listed for sale out of Bielsk Podlaski, Poland for approximately $20.49, with limited quantities available. On the bag’s lower right corner is a code (BRAB1R) spoiling that Edna can be unlocked in-game as a character.
Apparently this eBay posting of the Edna Mode polybag (30615) must be from somebody who got a number of them early. It probably doesn’t change that the minifigure is supposed to come with every copy of the LEGO Incredibles videogame sold. We’ll stay vigilant for further developments with this item.
After LEGO and Warner Bros. Interactive officially announced the release of the super powered LEGO Incredibles video game, it turns out that it will also come with a promotional freebie in the form of an exclusive LEGO Edna Mode minifigure.
The posh stylist of the superhero Parr family will now have a minifigure of her own as revealed in WB Games UK promotional video, which was not shown towards the end of the US version. The image is not the best that we have, but we can still have a good look at E’s minifig counterpart.
I’m not sure if this will be a store or platform exclusive, especially that the UK version of the trailer seems to highlight the PS4 console with the bundled Edna Mode minifigure. I just hope that this will not be a regional or console exclusive so as to give everyone an equal footing of having this collectible. Over a week ago, LEGO tipster and insider Sir von Lego of Eurobricks rocked the LEGO Star Wars boat with his tease of a soon-to-be released UCS-like set similar to BB-8, but this time, taking cue from a cute and famous creature from The Last Jedi. Fans were almost unanimous with regards to what they think the rumored set is, with the cute bird-like Porgs of the planet Ahch-To being the most likely candidate. Being a rumor for what it is, we also explored other possibilities on what this new LEGO Star Wars set could be.

However, Sir von Lego is back once more with another piece of info which seems to suggest that there might be a grain of truth for this rumor. This time, he unequivocally announced over Eurobricks forum that this next LEGO Star Wars UCS-like set is going to be, indeed, a Porg. Here’s what he has to say.
“75230 Porg will cost 69.99 EUR and will be available from October.”
Now it seems to me that Sir von Lego might have known about this possible LEGO Star Wars Porg (75230) set since last week, and opted to give out bits and pieces of teasers before giving a big reveal. Having a price point of 70 Euros, Rebel Scum also speculates that this buildable Porg may actually be not just one, but a kind of Porg nest with 2 or 3 buildable Porgs to boot. If that is the case, then this is one cool nest indeed.

Of course, all of this could be a part of an elaborate Force projection that is cast upon us, and we will not really know for sure if this is real or not until such time that LEGO comes out with an official announcement. In any case, October is still far off and we can expect plenty of related news about this, so let’s see if we can have Porgs for breakfast… I mean in LEGO bricks.

We had an earlier look at its box art a couple of days ago, and earlier today, LEGO had posted its first official announcement about The LEGO Incredibles video game via Twitter. The video highlights the Parr family and their individual powers, together with other familiar faces like Frozone and Edna Mode. The short video plug also suggests that like other LEGO video games, The LEGO Incredibles will also follow a co-op kind of gameplay, with each character’s superpowers complimenting one another. It is also expected that the video game will be a direct tie-in with the film, as players relive the entire movie similar to other film-inspired LEGO video games. What I find interesting about the game is that it features a bigfig version of Mr. Incredible, which will really be nice if there is a physical counterpart of him in a LEGO set. Baby Jack Jack will also get more screen time especially that the extent of his powers are still yet to be fully realized in the sequel. Lastly, the video clip also hints on a rather curious tidbit. It seems to suggests that The LEGO Incredibles will feature not just the sequel but also the original film. It will not be a longshot to consider that we will get both stories in one awesome video game package.
The LEGO Incredibles video game will be available across all major gaming platforms (PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC) on June 15, exactly the same date when Disney Pixar The Incredibles 2 debuts in US theaters.

Tuesday, March 27, marks the release of Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi on physical media, namely DVD, Blu-Ray and Ultra HD Blu-Ray versions. Though it is divisive some with regards to its plot developments, nevertheless, it’s still an epic blockbuster of galactic proportions.
In order to celebrate both the home release of The Last Jedi, as well as the toy companies that have manufactured tie-in merchandise for the film, the official Star Wars website is offering four downloadable and printable custom DVD covers, recreating scenes from the movie using various Star Wars toys.
StarWars.com created this neat gift to Last Jedi hardcopy buyers in collaboration with Jimmy Wu and Vesa Lethimaki, veteran toy photographers prominent on social media. The toys used for the vignette scenes featured on the covers are from Hasbro’s Star Wars: The Black Series…and of course, LEGO Star Wars too.
The Last Jedi custom cover in question appears to use the LEGO Star Wars set Ahch-to Island Training (75200). The vignette is set at night, with Luke Skywalker walking out of his hideaway to find Rey and an army of Porgs marching in from (apparently) the UCS Millennium Falcon (75192). You simply download the cover that you prefer (in PDF format) and print it in landscape.
Photographer Lethimaki has worked with LEGO before, his practiced camera eye providing the pictures for LEGO Star Wars: Small Scenes From A Big Galaxy, a hardcover coffee-table book from DK. His and Jimmy Woo’s covers need only to be downloaded from StarWars.com and printed, then slipped into the cover sleeve.
Now that this home release for The Last Jedi is done, full attention can now be turned to the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story, due to premiere in May. Tie-in LEGO sets for the movie will arrive on April 20, while Last Jedi sets remain available online and store-wide.
