TT Games and Warner Bros. Interactive are revving up the excitement for its next big LEGO Marvel video game, LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2, with the inclusion of Marvel’s power-packed royal family. It has been previously revealed that Medusa and Lockjaw will be one of the many, never-before-seen, playable characters that will appear in the game, and completing the roster of the Inhumans, WB Games UK has released a teaser trailer that shows Marvel’s Royal Family battling the likes of the evil genius, Maximus. Take a look:
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released a NEW vignette for LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes 2, spotlighting members of the Inhuman Royal Family, including Black Bolt, Medusa, Crystal, Karnak, Gorgon, Maximus and the lovable canine, Lockjaw, all in LEGO® form. Also showcased is their ancestral home, the Inhuman city of Attilan, which is one of 18 different iconic Marvel locations featured in the game, all ripped from time and space to form the expansive Open Hub World of Chronopolis.
Being a vast open-world as it is, the Inhumans’ city of Attilan will be one of the 18 different locations of the open hub world of Chronopolis, as players figure out ways to stop the menacing Kang the Conqueror. In typical LEGO fashion, these heroes are seen in their comicbook-minifigure versions with a bit of light, friendly humor added to them. I am also excited to see that Black Bolt will be returning to LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 – I hope his character and superpowers will be given more attention in this sequel. I love that scene where Black Bolt commands Maximus to be silent, and the king of the Inhumans managed to unleash a fraction of his power in just a single, spoken word. Other than Black Bolt, we also see the rest of the Inhumans such as Crystal, Triton, and Gorgon all making their debut in this superhero powered sequel, so it’s pretty interesting to see how all of these characters will play out in LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2. A nice DLC-like back story perhaps? We just have to wait and see until the game launches on November 14.

As an added treat, TT Games are also throwing in a cool, comic-book art poster when you pre-order LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2. Other than this limited-edition poster, you’ll also get an early access to the Classic Guardians of the Galaxy Character Pack, and the exclusive Giant-Man LEGO minifigure.
If you want to bring home a piece of the action after watching The LEGO Ninjago Movie, then you may want to pick up a copy of its video game counterpart, The LEGO Ninjago Video Game. Now available in Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC versions, the game itself allows you to take the role of Lloyd, Jay, Kai, Cole, Zane, Nya, and Master Wu as you defend the island of Ninjago against the clutches of Garmadon. The game itself is very dynamic and it allows you to execute various moves such as wall-running and high-jumping (who says minifigs can’t do acrobatics?) collectively called Ninjagility. It also offers a lot of interesting back stories about the lives of the film’s characters, especially that of Garmadon and Misako (formerly known as the Lady Iron Dragon). You can purchase the game via Amazon, and currently retails for $59.88. Check out the launch trailer below.
The LEGO NInjago Movie Video Game

To do so, they must master the art of Ninjagility which allows them to traverse Ninjago by wall-running, high-jumping and battling the foes of Ninjago to rank up and upgrade the ninja’s combat skills. Players can harness the power of Spinjitzu combat to defend Ninjago together.
Play the Action-Packed Movie: Players can become their favorite Ninjago character and experience the movie in a new, exciting way.

Battle Maps: Players can go up against their friends and family in four different game modes with competitive split-screen local gameplay for up to four players.
I have to admit that this piece of news has fallen off my radar, and has been eclipsed by all the marketing hype and excitement created by the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192).
Since its initial release via PC and other major gaming consoles last March, LEGO Worlds seems to have passed on the opportunity of releasing a version for the most popular console of the year, the Nintendo Switch, when it was also released to the public during the same month. Though it was announced by Arthur Parsons (Head of Design for TT Games) as early as January of this year that LEGO Worlds will eventually find its way on the Switch, it took roughly 8 months before this plan became a reality. So after more than a half a year of waiting, Nintendo Switch users can finally have the opportunity of playing LEGO’s most expansive, soap box gaming platform ever released.
With a previous Survivor DLC adding excitement to the game, Warner Bros Interactive and TT Games now offers a pretty nice deal for Switch owners. LEGO Worlds for the Nintendo Switch (physical copy of the game) will include two bonus packs: the Classic Spaceand Monster DLC Packs. Read the full press release below, right after the official LEGO Worlds Nintendo Switch trailer.

Now that the hype surrounding the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) has simmered down a bit, and that the Falcon is seemingly taking a break from the spotlight now that it is out of stock from virtually all LEGO stores and at shop.LEGO.com, let’s take a look at another wave of LEGO sets that were quietly released by LEGO during the past week.
If you are following the recent developments about the future of this last bastion of the toys-to-life genre, then the above headline will not come as much as a surprise to you. We’ve reported several months ago that Wave 9 of LEGO Dimensions is likely to be its very last, and that the whole theme is now probably slated to be cancelled. Considering all the telltale signs that appeared during the past months, we have reasons to believe that this is going to be the case.
Nevertheless, it doesn’t mean that LEGO Dimensions Wave 9 is less to be desired now that it is officially available, featuring the iconic characters of Beetlejuice, the Powerpuff Girls, Teen Titans Go! For those who are intending to add Wave 9 to their LEGO Dimensions collection, then you might be glad to hear that all of these characters are not exclusive to any retailer. It means purchasing them is relatively easy. Here’s a glimpse of these latest LD characters in action, followed by their official description and video spotlight. As an added treat, you can complete the entire Teen Titans team by adding Robin from the LEGO Dimensions The LEGO Batman Movie: Play the Complete Movie (71264), and you can have his Teen Titans Go! version as a playable character on screen. Likewise, you can also scan Cyborg (71210) to gain access to a similar cartoon variant, completing the entire Teen Titans Go! ensemble.

A couple of days ago, TT Games and Warner Bros. Interactive made waves at Europe’s largest gaming event, Gamescon 2017, with the announcementof additional playable superheroes and villains that will be added to the roster of LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 characters once the game is released on November 14 (US).
During the said gaming event, several playable characters were revealed, including Old West Iron Man, Maestro, and Vormund just to name a few. This time, LEGO showcases these characters via social media, together with other additional superheroes and villains that players can unlock during the course of the game. Included in the roster is Hela from Thor: Ragnarok, Silk from the Spider-Verse storyline, and Iron Fist.

LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 scheduled to be released in the US on November 14, and November 17 in Europe. It is available for all major gaming platforms including the Xbox One, Playstation 4, Steam (PC) and Nintendo Switch. It comes with a Deluxe Edition that grants you early access to the Classic GOTG Character Pack, Season Pass, and an exclusive Giant-Man minifigure.
Europe’s Gamescom 2017 is now in full swing, and other than the reveal of the different locations within the world hub of Chronopolis in LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2, one of the highlights of the gaming convention was the reveal of the game’s additional characters. IGN was on the scene together with the creative folks of TT Games to show a brand new gameplay trailer featuring several new Marvel comic book characters. Since its debut a couple of months ago, we have been steadily seeing more and more character reveals of classic and new Marvel superheroes and villains that will smash their way through the game. Here’s IGN’s interview with Phillip Ring (Executive Producer) and Wil Evans (Senior Designer) plus a live demo gameplay to show you around one of LEGO Marvel Superheroes boss battles. Watch this.
In this boss battle video, we see the game’s 7th level which takes place in Asgard and has our heroes pitted against the hellish behemoth, Surtur. What is interesting about this gameplay is that it introduces a new game dynamic were boss battles such as this requires players to make use of their character’s unique abilities on certain specific situations, in order to defeat the level’s boss. The boss’ behavior has also become more challenging since it can modify its attack depending on the player’s behavior as well. For example, if you prefer a melee approach since it could be your character’s strength and advantage, the boss may actually move far away from you. If you prefer the long-range strategy and keeping your enemy at bay, then the boss may actually charge towards you and close that gap. Needless to say, it is a very interesting improvement in Boss Fight AIs.
What is very interesting and probably what most of us wants to know are the new characters added to the roster of the game’s playable characters. As Ring and Evans revealed through the live demo, we have several new minifig characters such as Captain America (Roberta Mendez), Jane Foster as Thor, Maestro, Greenskyn Smashtroll, Vormund, Carnom, Throg, Tactical Force, and Iron Man (Old West) just to name a few.
We also spotted these never-before-seen LEGO Marvel Superheroes characters in the character selection page, though their respective gameplays were not shown: Man-Thing, Man-Ape, MODOK, Darkhawk, Heimdall, Hela, Horus, Vision, Kid Colt, Gamora, Forbush Man, Terminatrix, Vulture (Classic), She-Hulk, and Captain America (Pilot). It will really be great to see these digital characters having their physical minifigure counterparts, but who knows, maybe some of them are already in the works.
LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 are slated to be released in the US on November 14, and November 17 in Europe.

Much has been revealed about The LEGO Ninjago Movie during this year’s Comic-Con and just before we hit the theaters next month, it seems that LEGO still has some surprises tucked under its sleeve. Our friends over at Promobricks stumbled upon a find over at eBay and as it seems, we will not be getting one, but two minifigure polybag versions of the Green Ninja himself, Lloyd Garmadon. If you recall back in June, we first stumbled upon Lloyd’s promotional minifigure – the Kendo Lloyd (30608) polybag – as a promotional offering that comes with an unlock code to be used in the film’s accompanying video game.
As it turns out, Lloyd will probably have another minifigure promotional as images of this new polybag appears on eBay. Check out the images below.
One will notice right away that this polybag version of Lloyd sports a hood which is basically the same as that found in the film’s CMF tie-up, a tasseled sword similar to what he is wielding in the Green Ninja Mech Dragon (70612) set, and a unique, never-before-seen torso print. The torso is quite different from Lloyd’s other minifigure iteration where he is seen wearing a sweater on top of his ninja garb. This is one minifigure that will surely be interesting to collect.
In related news, Warner Bros. Interactive has shared several exciting info regarding the film’s tie-up video of the same title. We now get to see some of the combat styles and slick moves that our Ninjago heroes have acquired. They’ve also released several in-game screenshots that highlights the game’s highly-detailed and immersive environment. With styles and techniques that takes its cue from nature, these abilities are also available to players during the game.
Lastly, as of this writing, we now have confirmation that the Kendo Lloyd (30608) polybag now comes as a GameStop pre-order exclusive while supplies last.
We’re not sure if this polybag promotional is specific only to GameStop, and we hope that this will be made available to other retailers as well. The LEGO Ninjago Movie and The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game will both be released in the US on September 22.
The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game
Find your inner ninja with the all-new LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game! Play as your favorite ninjas, Lloyd, Jay, Kai, Cole, Zane, Nya and Master Wu to defend their home island of Ninjago from the evil Lord Garmadon and his Shark Army. Master the art of Ninjagility by wall-running, high-jumping and battling the foes of Ninjago to rank up and upgrade the ninja’s combat skills. Only in the LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game will you experience the film across 8 action packed locations each with its own unique Challenge Dojo. And with the Battle Maps, play against friends and family in competitions for up to four players!
SDCC 2017 has been concluded, but the reveals that LEGO shared with fans and attendees still lingers on. I intend to do a recap any time soon about all the things related to LEGO during this year’s San Diego Comic Con, to somehow round-up all these things, and to make sense out of the information overload.
But before that, here’s another tidbit of info that Warner Bros. Interactive and TT Games have shared during Comic-Con. We already had a look at some of the new Marvel superheroes that will be added to the game’s roster of more than 200+ playable characters. This time, we now have our second official trailer of the LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 video game that puts the spotlight on the game’s main antagonist, Kang the Conqueror. We also get a closer look at the different Marvel worlds as Kang brings them all together in an epic collision of inter-dimensional proportions in the surreal world of Chronopolis.
If the first trailer of LMSH2 introduces us to some of the characters that will grace the long-awaited sequel, this follow-up shows us more about Kang and the time-warping, open-hub world of Chronopolis. In this uber extreme mashup of Marvel worlds, we get to see familiar places such as Ancient Egypt, New York City 2099, Wakanda, Xandar, Knowhere, and many other comic book locations.
Here’s the official press release of the latest LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 trailer released as a fitting conclusion for this year’s SDCC.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Spotlights Kang the Conqueror in NEW SDCC Trailer

At Comic-Con, TT Games also revealed a brand new character created in tandem with Marvel Games, fusing together the ever popular Carnage and Venom to form a new Marvel Super Villain called Carnom, a character who has never existed in the Marvel Universe before and is completely unique to LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. Along with Carnom, TT Games announced a slew of other characters coming to the game, including Howard the Duck and his Iron Duck variant, who will be voiced by Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller, Gwenpool, the fan-favorite amalgam of Gwen Stacy and Deadpool, Vulture, from the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” film, Cosmo the Spacedog,Doctor Octopus, Forbush Man, Greenskyn Smashtroll and Throg.
