LEGO Releases A Ton Of Official Images For Its Final Three LEGO Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Sets

For those of you who are closely following LEGO’s reveal of its latest Jurassic World sets, this piece of news is not really that new. However, seeing this ton of official images from the last three LEGO Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom sets is a delightful eye candy.

Two of these are direct tie-ins for the upcoming Fallen Kingdom sequel, while the Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase (75932) is a reference to the cult-classic film that started it all. The LEGO Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom sets are scheduled to debut all across the country beginning Monday, April 16 together with a LEGO BrickHeadz version of Owen and Blue (41614) first unveiled last month. Do take note that the Dilophosaurus Outpost Attack (75931) and Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase (75932) are both sold exclusively by Walmart. Check these out.

LEGO Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Baby Velociraptor Playpen (30382) Listed On Walmart

It looks like we now know where to spot our Baby Velociraptor microfig. After being revealed as the first polybag tie-in set for the LEGO Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom theme, Walmart has now listed the Baby Velociraptor Playpen (30382) polybag on its web portal. As it seems, it doesn’t come as a freebie of sorts, or a gift with purchase set since it is retailing for $3.97 as Walmart’s website suggests. Its currently listed as out of stock, and I’m not really sure if this is a retailer exclusive. We’ll just have to wait and see if this dino polybag will eventually find its way at shop.LEGO.com.

As I mentioned before, the obvious selling point of this polybag is the tiny and adorable Baby Velociraptor microfig which is first introduced in the Fallen Kingdom subtheme. This is a great way to create a sort of den for these little critters if you’re looking forward to add its siblings coming from other sets such as the Dilophosaurus Outpost Attack (75931), Carnotaurus Gyrosphere Escape (75929), and T. Rex Transport (75933). Here’s how Target describes this nice 48-piece polybag.

The LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron (42083) Eyed For An Early VIP Release In May

I guess there is no disagreeing on the fact that the now released LEGO Store May Calendar is jam packed with promos and announcements that LEGO fans will closely watch for. Aside from the reveal of a new pair of LEGO BrickHeadz and a buildable Porg, we now have a teaser of sorts for not just one, but two exclusive direct-to-consumer (D2C) sets.

If you recall earlier last month, LEGO has revealed that the initially planned release date of August for the LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron (42083) has been eventually advanced in June. Additionally, LEGO’s presence in the Geneva Auto Show 2018 further suggested that the release date could be as early as May as you can see from the image below courtesy of Zusammengebaut.

Now given all these info, it’s not difficult to predict that the LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron is now all set up to be our next exclusive, early VIP release next month. The 3,599-piece set is the second model to follow from Technic’s Ultimate subtheme ahead of the equally impressive Porsche 911 GT3 RS (42056). We managed to have a glimpse of how the set will look, and all I can say is that it’s predominantly blue and black color scheme and curvatures are a sight to behold. The back side of the build is bespeaks of the technical complexity of the actual Chiron, with the classy inclusion of an exclusive, printed Chiron and Bugatti logo pieces. Since the LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron is believed to be available for early VIP access next month, it can be expected that official images of the set will be available anytime soon this April.

Now, the LEGO Store May Calendar mentions another exclusive D2C set which will be released alongside the LEGO Technic Chiron. Some LEGO fan sites predict this to be another LEGO Creator Expert set (31084), the rumored LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle (71043), or another never-before-seen Jurassic Park commemorative set. In any case, expect that these exclusive D2C sets will eventually revealed anytime soon this April.

Be Sure To Bring Home This Buildable LEGO Porg This Month of May

The LEGO Store May Calendar is now out and as expected, the Force is strong with this month’s promos and highlights. LEGO is all ready to go come May the 4^th, especially with its in-store activities and freebies. So before we are treated with a UCS-like Porg (75230) sometime in October, LEGO is giving us a taste of things to come with an exclusive Make and Take Build event in all LEGO brand stores from May 4 to 6. Open to all children ages 6-14, participants will be treated to a LEGO buildable Porg which is actually our very first official LEGO Porg set.

All weekend, come in dressed as your favorite character! You can also participate in an exclusive Porg Make and Take Build that you get to take home – for free! As you may notice, registration is already on-going which began early this month. I’m quite positive that this is one Make and Take build that will prove to be quite popular among the LEGO faithful, and it is understandable if registration will be full even a month before the event. We just hope that like similar previous promos, LEGO will make the instructions available online since the pieces used for this kind of sets are usually easy to find and may in fact already be part of your existing LEGO collection.

New LEGO Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Baby Velociraptor Playpen (30382) Polybag Appears

Here’s another unlikely find. It looks like LEGO is still not done with its tiny, little surprises, which this time, comes in a small package. Just in time before the LEGO Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom sets are released this month, Promobricks revealed that the theme will be having another polybag set under its belt. Following its very first polybag promo back in 2015 with the Gallimimus Trap (30320), it looks the Fallen Kingdom subtheme will be receiving the same treatment.

Thanks to one of Promobricks’ readers, we now have our first image of the LEGO Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Baby Velociraptor Playpen (30382) set which might be our second dino-themed JW polybag promo anytime soon. Check out its image below.

As you can see, the polybag consists of a Baby Velociraptor minifig (or microfig depending on how you look at it) in what looks like a playpen contraption standing on a 12X3 base, including a drumstick and some bone elements. The obvious selling point for this set is the Baby Velociraptor itself, considering that the same microfig can only be found in two recently revealed, upcoming JWFK sets: the Dilophosaurus Outpost Attack (75931) and T. Rex Transport (75933).

Details of when, where, and how to get this polybag is still scant but our best guess is that it will be available sometime in May just in time with the film’s theatrical release.

The official trailer of the Solo: A Star Wars story has finally been dropped on the Internet. And just in time with the trailer’s release, LEGO has finally broken its silence and has released its long overdue official images of its LEGO tie-in counterparts.

If you recall since early last March, we already spotted these official images as they made their appearance in various online retailer sites around the globe. However, they came only in bits and pieces which really doesn’t give us a comprehensive look at what each of the LEGO Star Wars Han Solo sets have to offer. Based once again on the LEGO Spring Catalog which is now made available in North America (included with purchases via shop.LEGO.com), we can now have a good look at what LEGO has prepared to sweeten its LEGO Star Wars deals on May 4.

As mentioned, we have the exclusive Mini BB-8 (40288) polybag which is only available for a day on May 4. This mini brick-built figure of the cutest droid around comes free with any purchase of LEGO Star Wars sets worth $75 and above.

Double VIP points are back on most LEGO Star Wars sets purchased from May 4 to 6, such as the upcoming LEGO Star Wars Kessel Run Millennium Falcon (75212). CONFIRMED: LEGO Star Wars Mini BB-8 (40288) Is This Year’s Exclusive LEGO May The 4th Promotional

Last week, we reported that the upcoming LEGO Star Wars May the 4^th promotional will be very much similar to last year’s buildable R2-D2 (30611) polybag, and it looks like that our next similar promotional will be getting its inspiration from another one of Star Wars most famous droids. The confirmation comes from the LEGO Store Spring Catalog which is reported to be shipped together with sets that were ordered via LEGO Shop@Home, according to Promobricks. Based on one of its pages, this year’s May the 4^th Promotional will be the LEGO Star Wars Mini BB-8 (40288) polybag as you can see below.

Similar to last year, this Mini-BB8 polybag will only be available on May 4, during which, it comes free for every $75 single receipt purchase of any LEGO Star Wars sets. This brick built figure is a whole lot different from TRU’s microbuild polybag Bricktober promo – first, it’s significantly large as compared from the previous TRU microbuild promo, giving the Mini BB-8 (40288) polybag an expected larger piece count. And secondly, like last year’s builable R2-D2 polybag, it comes with a uniquely printed dome piece, and 6×6 satellite dishes surrounding its body to give this mini BB-8 a spherical look.

Considering that this is only made available for a day, we can expect that this promotional will become one of the hottest, sought after items come May 4. So if you’re planning to purchase online, be sure to be quick on those mouse clicks once the clock strikes 12 midnight of May 4. A Closer Look At The LEGO Incredibles Edna Minifigure.

After the reveal of the exclusive LEGO Incredibles 2 Edna minifigure as a GameStop exclusive in the US, we now have a closer look at this video game minifig promotional. Listed over at eBay by a certain klocego1, the following images give us a better scrutiny of our superhero stylist’s minifig counterpart.

As you can see from this image, this Edna exclusive minifigure comes with dual-sided face print as most of you have probably guessed. However, though I always appreciate dual-sided printing in any particular minifig, this version of Edna Mode somehow falls short of how I expect her to see in minifigure form. It will be better if she has the same detailing like how she is presented in the video game’s teaser trailer.

I understand that it is not cost-effective for LEGO to create and produce the same hairpiece and eye glasses mould in such small quantities, but it looks certainly better than having the glasses printed. With regards to the head print, I feel that E’s digital version in the video game trailer is closer to her big screen rendition. I wish LEGO could have done better with this particular design. On a more positive note, it’s good that the Edna minifig has front and back torso prints. The red v-neck accent is pretty spot-on against a predominantly black color scheme, as well as her shirt’s stripped pattern.

In any case, since this is a video game exclusive similar to the Giant-Man minifigure that came with the LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 video game released last November, then I understand that the Edna Mode minifigure will possibly be on the A-list of some LEGO minifig connoisseurs.
